  1. Thanks The grass is a mixture of premade tufts I've cut into smaller pieces and spread around and static grass glued on, I don't have an applicator so I just add it by hand. The chain is just green stuff.
  2. Love this addition, kitbashing might be my favourite part of the hobby. I present my newest hero.
  3. Mods asked us to drop it so I'm not going to argue semantics with you mate. So who's hoping Deepkin are getting a giant crab in the future?
  4. Would be cool if sacrosanct units could unbind however I would imagine castigators would need a point increase because 70 points for a unit that can unbind seems cheap
  5. *You realise just because you say "that's a fact" at the end of something doesn't make it so? *I never said they were making a loss, I said they produced made to order product at increased cost. Creating anything made to order vs a mass produced production run will cost more, that's an actual fact. *I also never claimed people wouldn't be buying more after buying the boxed game, the point was every missed sale of a box set isn't missing £80 worth of sales, it's missing potentially hundreds if not thousands of potential sales. *no one's arguing that GW aren't making money just that they could have done a better job here, we're all aware that profit is king but businesses have more measures and KPI's than just gross profit. Thing like engagement and retention are supremely important and are major factors in why GW had so many issues in the past. Either way I look forward to you misquoting me and moving the goalposts again.
  6. This 100% The fact that they are having to produce these sets made to order at increased cost to avoid a massive pr disaster is telling. Also its worth remembering this is a starter set, they aren't big money spinners per box, they make money by introducing people to the game/armies and the real money is made on the non discounted units and special models plus all the paints, rule books tomes/codex accessories etc that come after. GW didn't make any money when I got back into warhammer and i purchased the storm strike set. They made money from me purchasing the other 2k points worth of units for my sce and 1k in units for my wife's NH, plus paints, battletomes and the new generals handbook and then I got into Seraphon...
  7. Bastiladon Big dinosaur powered by little dinosaurs. I also love the leviadon, Lord of change and allarielle models
  8. You can fly through objects you can't see through objects
  9. Male dominated is not the same as masculine, tabletop gaming and painting little models is not a masculine pursuit, not by traditional standards. As to why the hobby is male dominated? The same reason that most nerd culture is male dominated, historical and sociatal pressures that have made women feel uncomfortable in these niche spaces. Its worth noting that representation is much better for business. For all the scaremongering from sad little nerds the video game industry is making more and more money every year and increasing representation at the same time, the highest grossing films of the last few years have bucket loads of representation (black panther, avengers, any fast and furious movie)
  10. What on earth makes you think pushing around little plastic figures and rolling dice is masculine? Also I'd kill for an all female Stormcast unit as well as a female lord celestant
