  1. I haven't seen the actual rules yet, just the quick glimpse of that page on the GMG preview. I'll have to go back and attempt to zoom in to make sure I understand where that rule is stated. Do you have the book already? Is there somewhere else where you're seeing those rules explained the way you're stating them?
  2. I don't believe that the rules split them between factions, just grand alliances. So you'd be able to use the stormcast hero allies with any order warband. Unless I'm totally missing something.
  3. I agree. An FAQ before the next wave of warbands would be helpful, updating some of the universal abilities would also be good. I don't think there's the same drawback with putting out this new expansion, since it exists outside of any particular warband.
  4. Yeah, I didn't come to Warcry to play chess. There can be strategy in preparing for randomness, and as a game literally set in one of the most chaotic places in the mortal realms, that makes it all the more thematic. That being said...hidden agendas or secondary objectives would be pretty awesome. And I wish they expanded the available warbands and the loot mechanics before adding in mercs and monsters.
  5. I've found that the Danse Macabre can be really overwhelming for an elite opponent. Using onslaught on the Necromancer also makes his ranged attack pretty scary as long as you have the doubles for it. I personally like the board control I get out of the skeleton horde list, I've been playing with Necro, 2 Seneschals, 2 Champs, 2 WG with Shield, and 4 sword skellies and I'm 2-0 so far. I know that's not a lot of battlefield experience, but I felt like I had the upper hand even losing a few skeletons here and there. Tying people up in combat with 2 Seneschals and then using Danse Macabre was a death sentence to a leader/elite both games.
