Ohhh, for some reason I thought you meant the bone around the armour. The main bone colour of that executioner looks to me like many coats of agrax earth and nuln oil glaze over a light grey base.

I’ve had good results using nuln oil over Celestra Grey then dry brushed with celestra grey once again.

I hope so. I wasn’t very impressed with those tombstone zombies. Them and the weirdly posed Skeletons kind of turned me off of Cursed City a bit.

It's funny you mention that. I stopped by my LGS yesterday morning and found a Warcry KO box covered in dust, so I picked that up. I'm thinking the SC box and Iron Clad are probably the way I'll go next. Thanks for the tips!

I've got Thundriks Profiteers and the Barak-Nar Skyfleet Battleforce box. If I use the Aether-Khemist from the Profiteers warband, that puts me at just about 1000 points. I'm wondering what to get next. My LGS has a Endrinmaster with Dirigible Suit in stock, so I'm thinking of picking him up. As for objective holders, it's really hard to stomach buying 10 Arkanauts for $60 Canadian, when 20 Mortek Guard are going for $70. What's the deal?

This stuff all looks amazing. I built my own mounted Wight King model, so it looks like I can relegate him down to banner bearer in order to make room for this new Wight King. Nice to see new bat swarm models too. The zombies look pretty cool. The Gravelords seem to be shaping up as LoN 2.0, which is fine with me.

I wouldn’t want these kinds of passive aggressive comments on my marketing posts either. From a company perspective, it must be hard to deal with this fanbase sometimes. In fact, it’s downright embarrassing to call myself a Warhammer aficionado when I see this kind of behaviour, even though it’s from a very vocal minority.

I have no idea how their release schedule works but having new models in new packaging sitting in a warehouse seems like a good sign that we should see them this year. Anything can happen, but I’m optimistic.

I wasn’t disappointed by the lack of info on SGL. It’s good enough for me just knowing that it’s coming this year. The warband and Cursed City both look great, and will hold me over until SGL.

Totally jazzed for the Underworlds vampires AND Warhammer Quest. A great preview for what will come for the Soulblight Gravelords subfaction. Vampires, Zombies, Skeletons and Necromancers are what make up my LoN army right now, so this is all right up my alley.

With no buffs, sure I'll buy that. Perhaps they just don't know how to use them. They exist for a reason.

Great monster hunters. Need to do damage to something that has a 2+ save? Equip the Dread Falchions, use precision stance and spend a point on Bludgeon for -4 rend, 3 damage on 4s and 3s. Use a buff to get your to Hit down to 3+ and you'll shred some monster butt. I use two units of 3 to flank and or hunt monsters/heroes.
