  1. I think the actual BT isn't perfect, but at least, we can have fun with our old 8th edition miniatures :). Can I ask you here what combo do you have in mind for a Starcast COS thread, or do you rather I open another thread in the COS subforum ?
  2. HEy @Turragor I'm starting about mixing base Starcast that is LCoSD+ castellant + Prime with my Cos Armies. There might be funny combos to make for maximum MW output!

  5. Mine always swings Gal Maraz in the wind. He might be swinging at flies , but his enemy ? Never!
  6. If I was to choose between sce armors, I'take the one giving -2 to hit for missile attacks. Without Ignax scale, a drake could die to 20 Sotw shooting twice, a Hurricanum's shooting etc. My 2 cents.

  8. They only get rend-1. A maw Crusha can be 2+. I had the case, 20 HG fired upon a charging MC. I did unsaved 3wounds
  9. If you have the time, could describe your whole game ? Do you have pictures ? I'd like to understand how you weren't wiped out of the board T1 (Slanesh can charge T1, right ?). With the units you took, against a charging Maw Crusha+GG, you'd have been in a very bad shape.
  10. 1 Greatblade for 4 blade liberators or 1 Greathammer for 4 hammer libs.
  11. Comet is indeed strong, when it goes off and you're not unbound. It does complement well the theme of the list which is : I'm going to slowly MW away, starting with your precious heroes! Protectors, although I really like them in Skyborne slayers, are very slow, and they don't really fit in the theme. They could be useful as you said, when you're bunkered up turn 1 and are preparing yourselfto withstand a charge.
  12. Normally, Endless Spells can only be empowered if you play on their very realm. CoS wiazards always sling their empowered version regardless of you playing in a realm or not! That's the power of COS. Realm spells are only available to you if you play in a realm.
  13. @Myrdin You can play all the generic endless spells + SCE spells if you've got a SCE caster, and I suppose it works for Sylvaneth too since you can have those in Living city.

  15. Gotcha. Playing Celestial, your templar will be fragile without the ethereal amulet!
  16. Drop the LCoD, take a wizard, play LCoSD or put ethereal amulet on the drake templar and that's a good list!
  17. The LO is a heavy tax when you only take 3 balistas, but a comet is potent, especially with Stardrake+ Prime.
  18. You're welcome. Remember that the drake can eat models, and if you do so after an enemy's activation, then he can't move to regain unit coherence, bybye half of what's left after all your attacks. < remember also that balistas can move!!!
  19. T1 : Stardrake shooting stars + Prime's scepter + 4 Balistas shooting at heroes. Normally, enemy casters are dead.
  20. You could drop the allied spellweaver + Quicksilver swords and take a 4th balista. Incantor takes Azyrite halo, which you can cast on the prime for more survivability once you dropped him (I always do turn 1 for MW output), or on the drake if he's against hard hitting foes. Should be a fun and "potent" list.
  21. Do you own a celestant prime ? If you do , Prime+ Stardrake+castellant and why not 4 balistas + LO ? 3*5 libs.
