  1. Are Ironguts worth it as a 12 man unit? or is the sweet spot at 8.
  2. Hi, was put off getting fully into Tzeentch when i saw how much they were pushing costly daemons. Not the part of the army I like anyway. With that in mind I was looking to make a Cult of Transient Form army with a big focus on tzaangors. Threw together a mockup, was wondering what I could do to improve it. I have a Gaunt summoner but no desire to get the required horrors to summon.   3. I am going to try a refined version of the list I played in the event. Concentrating on maximizing Boulderhead. Going for more of a focus on durability than speed, not that they won't still be fast. Eurlbad is great but requires more hits being thrown out to feel the benefit. If i use it again I will run more Mournfang. If not then Jorlbad for speed.   4. So finished my event yesterday. Was playing the attached list. Went 2-1 and came 3rd overall. If I had played the last 1 a little better/been on the ball more to check abilities I would have won undefeated! 1st Game was against Khorne and I forgot to use Hrothgorn and co the entire game, was Knife to the Heart though and my Stonehorns did massive amounts of work, both on tanking his Bloodthirsters and clearing the objectives of enough bodies to easily win at the end of round 3. 2nd game was Escalation against Slaanesh, made the mistake of forgetting their double attack and lost a FLoSH that would have dumpstered their KoS if I had activated them first. The nerfs really showed, at end of round 2 they had 92 Depravity, Luckily I won the roll to go first and killed almost all their units and heroes except their Epitome, they summoned a Keeper and 2 bladebringers in their turn but failed most charges. My general then charged the Bladebringers and mws from charge and then Metalcruncher took 1 out of commission before they got the chance to fight back. Ended up way ahead on objective points but was almost tabled before game ended, with just my FLoSH left on 3 wounds. Main thoughts on this was that Hrothgorns trap actually kept them off the middle objective for the entire game because I trapped the terrain piece it was on. That won me the game on objectives. I ended up killing Hrothgorns Sabre to capture it myself. 3rd Game was Focal Points against LoN with Nagash. Was very tiring, he had been playing the entire day with 'misread' stats on his skeleton units. 5 attacks each and 5+ save with 4+ vs no rend. I didn't catch the save thing til after the first turn where they tanked my stonehorns charge more than they should have, also he didn't take battleshock tests which I thought was ok until after the game where I saw it was a CA from Nagash that he wasn't spending CPs on just saying it was the armies buff. SO that was annoying! Despite that I still could have won if I played a little better, almost killed Nagash but made the mistake of not guaranteeing his death so he healed up and grinded me down. I very much felt the lack of magic in my army because of the debuffs layed down on my Stonehorns, and also units to fight Skeletons, stuff you don't want your Frost Lords doing. Overall I am very happy with how I did though. I don't get to play much so for my first actual games with Ogors I did well. Made friends and was invited into a game next week so overall a win!   5. Shooting should get them pretty well. Sniping out their support too. basically fighting mortek guard of any shape or form head on will be a loss for almost any unit in the game. Try and avoid it and if you do, maximise your positioning and movement so you can attack with all your unit and they cant pile in far enough to get all their attacks back in. <this works best with BCR cause of being monsters
  6. He is your only hero so I think you have to go Ethereal for the survivability. Frostfell aura or Nomadic Raider both sound pretty good to me for traits.

Its somehow just really calling me.
  8. I had it like that originally, but not sure if I wanted to paint a big target on his back cause i want him to be free to use that movement and fly to destroykey targets.
  9. So I have an event coming up soon and my foot ogors will not be ready in time cause I am taking my time converting. So will be running pure BCR. As its a small AoS scene here I am pretty sure I will be vsing a lot of Death w Nagash, including OBR as well tons of Skaven n CoS. This I am hoping can take em all on.   10. They don't, the intention is to run both FLoSH together, the splattercleaver healing both so they are a very tanky and destructive spearhead.
  11. Was going for goremund to run the slaughtermaster with the Ironguts and have more of a chance at +1 to hit. But a cheaper battallion and another wizard may be better.   13. Win Con vs HoS seems to be assassinate their heroes and/or weather their attacks with tankiness and hit back hard (fyreslayers and maybe Nurgle). Easier said than done.
  14. Yeah I play Khorne and Slaanesh and beating a Khorne army up is just part of it being a massively bad matchup for khorne. Also Khorne is a bottom mid tier army. Slaanesh has it good but there will be comps made to destroy us just like every other army that gets up into the meta.
  15. Does anyone know how Into the Fray works. Is it literally just the first attack the general makes. Or is it the first attack every time they fight.
  16. I play Khorne as well and basically feel he got the short end of the straw Battletome wise compared to Slaanesh. However, still very fun but yeah would never bet on Khorne vs Slaanesh. I will play HoS against the stronger armies my Khorne could never beat and just mess around with weird lists both Khorne and Slaanesh against anyone else.
  17. I didn't think of that but then they also serve the function of surviving the hit back better than bestigors. How big are their bases? If they are fiend size maybe its just better to run fiends, who can be quite destructive and tanky ish. A squad of 20 knights get exploding attacks and tag a few units but how much space is that actually?
  18. Been trying to choose between getting BoC for Depraved Drove with 30 bestigors or running a StD cavalry combo. The StD combo being godseekers and a 10 or more man unit of chaos Knights. A lord of chaos on foot and a mounted one, as well as a chaos sorcerer with mount option. The idea is buffing the unit up with +1 to hit and reroll charges with mounted lord. Then giving them run and charge with on foot Lord. Then lastly putting Daemonic Power on them with Sorcerer to reroll all ones. Equipped with Glaives that seems pretty deadly. Not to mention Into the Fray on Lord of Chaos being a fun combo. However idk how to math these things to see how good it actually is, compared to like 30 Bestigors.
