  1. Probably it was pulled back from one of GW stores. Certain products have limited shelf life in their stores. They didn't bother to remove the sticker.
  2. You really shouldn't have written that, this forum was supposed to be for everyone.
  3. It was inspired by the indo-european myth of the wild hunt, not angelic something: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Hunt
  4. For centuries, in almost all cultures of the world, men performed war-related functions. There were exceptions to this, but they were exceptions so unique that legends arose around them (see Amazons). If for someone the game is an extension of the perception of current reality, then in fact the lack of diversity can be a shock, a proof of all the worst blasphemies to the current social paradigm. However, I think that most people play to escape reality even for a moment, to move to another world rather then contemplate the shortcomings of their own. And just as killing in the game does not make us psychopathic killers, the expectation that knights are men does not make us sexists. That said, just as women in barbarian teams from Warcry look completely natural and cool, women in the ranks of a freeguild regiment or women chaos knights would look like pretentious quota fillers. Heck, there is a whole women faction of DoK which looks terrific given their lore and fluff. Where is diversity in that?
  5. Moreover, the base of the thing is octagonal, which is a clear Chaos reference. As giants serve both..
  6. What was so offending/unsettling/Pincorrect in the Fimirs' lore?
  7. These are not horses. The sculptor probably tried to manifest the idea, that these creatures are more dynamic and stronger than regular horses, so that their poses are taken to 11. However, in general terms, the pose on the left corresponds to the first photo.
  8. Before the above photo was taken in late 19th century, there was a serious discussion on whether there is a moment in gallop when all four legs are in the air. As you can see there is no instant in which horse touches the ground with more than two legs. The new GW sculpts reflect gallop very well.
  9. All hail to the silent hero within GW, who against all odds, had successfully convinced everybody, that knights should ride proper regular horses! What a surprise after all these AOS dinodogs, rhinocats, eels etc.
  10. What's the point of running a rumour thread if legit leaks and rumours are forbidden and only unsupported speculation is allowed?
  11. The rumour comes from the Panjiva website (business intelligence company). Unless there is another GW which manufactures Ossiarch and Sigmarite stuff in China and distributes it in the US, it is legit.
  12. Here is the order: https://panjiva.com/Wargames-Factory-Ltd/33258484 There is also "ZONE MORTALIS FLOORS" and "FRACTURED STORMTHRONE"
  13. I bet this rumour engine thing belongs to the Scions of the flame and it does not need to be a hammer, rather some fire controlling device.
  14. That would solve a long standing rumour of a dichotomous light/dark elves army which would turn out to be in fact an army of sun/moon worshipping gobbos.
  15. Race !=faction. They don't have Kurnothi keyword, just plain Sylvaneth. If GW will ever expand on this new race, it will be a Sylvaneth subfaction. Given that the Sylvaneth battletome has just been released I wouldn't expect that to happen in the near future.
  16. All the universal season 1 cards have been phased out. The universal cards in core box sets are pretty much the same in all three season. If you want to play casually buy one starter set (nightvault or beastgrave) and the warbands of your liking. If you want to play competitively you should probably aim toward getting all season 2 and season 3 warbands.
  17. You can use cards such as tome of glories or bag of tricks to inspire passively.
  18. They share mongolian aesthetics with the new ogor tyrant, so maybe they will be covered by the new ogor book? By the way, how it is possible, that somebody has already got and painted the new model: https://spruesandbrews.com/2019/07/20/battletome-mawtribes-new-ogor-battletome/
  19. GW have already announced rules for the first Grand Clash of the third season: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lN0DIboI1Gp2GGSRlAzm2WeoXDSZsJyj/view They explicitly stated, that all WU products would be eligible, excluding Dreadfane and banned cards from the BAR list. Now the only way to get rid of season 1 content is to put all the season 1 cards on the BAR list upon Beastgrave premiere.
  20. The way the cavalry carry their havy lances is clearly European, the guy in the front has got hussar's wings, so its not only far eastern influence behind, rather a mix of all sort of cultural clishes.
  21. The rule is not unambiguous because you don't use enough punctuation in your language. Reading ability cards in other languages (which are included) may answer your doubts.
  22. Is it possible to build the set to be worth exactly 1000pts? I am trying everything and it is always 990 or 1005 pts.
  23. They said during one of the previews that the Warcry starter set will remain in production for some time, unlike the Killteam original starter.
