Is there a way to re-gain aether quartz?
I am confused because there are cards which refer to one or more aether quartz tokens on one model. How to get more than one?
I personally have the latter impression.
In every wargaming store I have been before lockdown (germany), there still were plenty of lumineth boxes. The same story online.
For me it seems that the early lumineth second wave shall make them quickly more popular and prevent them for being a financial mised opportunity.
Warcry was so awesome back then...
Somehow with the opening for all Models and alliances the game totally died for me and my local gaming group.
What a shame.
I too think that unit sizes are becoming an issue. In 40k you really see big blobs not so often and most Armies are still somewhat "elite" in terms of Modelcount.
Regarding AOS? Come on...
Almost every army uses 20+ blobs of units. Heck, even for stormcast unit sizes of 30 are discussed in list building. That is ludicrous for such a system. I personally really have a problem with that.
Why not fix unit sizes? Sizes are fix for units:
Trash/low tier: 20
Normal troop: 10
Elite: 5
Super elite: 3
But the core rules are saying that you can only make the save roll when modifiers make the save possible...
I don't get it... When the rend is high enough or you don't have modifier, the save will become impossible and no roll needs to be done.
Maybe I misunderstand this.
Here is also a small idea for a Griffon within Stormcast. I always liked the model, so why not. It is far away from competitive but as a cool all-rounder list for some friendly matches it should be fine.

Somehow I dislike "Soup" Armies although some COS Warscrolls are pretty nice.
I really have to think about rather boosting efficiency and loosing "style" (personal opinion).
Nevertheless, some interesting discussions regarding list building are coming. That's cool though.
I am adding nothing really.
When I want to use any command ability my COS unit will be treated as if they were a stormcast unit. I read it like this.
Let's hope for a quick faq clarification though and change the topic.
So how do you feel about the battalions?
I really like them.
I quite like the battalions.
+1 save and +1 to Hit for the paladins and Justicars could be awesome and quite heavy.
The redeployment before the game starts could also be very.handy
Now this sounds a lot less than before.
So it seems we just get 2-3 new abilities and not sets of abilities.
Probably+1 save for liberators for 10 models or something or if they didn't move.
Let's wait and see
Ok, I see your argument.
Isn't there also written that all.units gain the stormhost keyword?
So COS also getting the anvils keyword!?
But I guess we will see this later.
Rules wise I would prefer if this is a unique stormhost that will include COS units. Would be more "clean".
Where do you read it?
If we still can choose a stormhost and include a COS unit than those will be handled if they have the stormcast keyword. So Command ability works..
So, double tab for the win.
That will be the big question if storm-keeps are in fact stormhosts... Anvils with COS... Oh boy...
Man, somehow including COS is weird and I am not sure if I like it.
What is your feeling?
