  1. As always, @PlasticCraic wrote a fantastic article: https://plasticcraic.blog/2020/08/20/getting-squiggy-with-it-jaws-of-mork-review/ After two games playing the new Squigalanche I think it's only a small improvement of the old Squigalanche. I think we need to continue testing and brewing lists, especially the mixed lists that I think it's the hidden gem of the new subfaction.
  2. @Evil Eye I love the idea. The old Behemat lore says this: "Brodd carries a huge granite pillar – both his symbol of rulership and his weaponin times of war. The stony artefact was a part of the old Behematian Temple thatonce crested Tor Crania, a monolithic structure toppled by cyclopean mutants longago. " Brodd lives in a swamp area, so we will think the cyclopean mutant face were the Fimir and, of course, they will be a builders in Destruction. It will be a bit contradictory, but if the constructions are for be safe and hunt enemies make sense. The Destruction races aren't dumb, the Gloomspite build undercities and the ogors have big villages were the Overlords live.Brodd lives in a swamp area, so we could think the cyclopean mutant face were the Fimir and, of course, they will be a builders in Destruction. It will sound a bit contradictory, but if the constructions are for be safe and hunt enemies make sense. The Destruction races aren't dumb, the Gloomspite build undercities and the ogors have big villages were the Overlords live. Not all the factions are nomads, the nomad-destruction relation was the AoS1.0 Lore as we can't say that Death are all mindless in the actual Lore.
  3. Two days talking about greenskinz in Warhammer Community... I think it's CONSPIRACY TIME!
  4. The artefact seems to have an exploit. The effect of the artifact lasts until the start of my next hero phase, but you use the artefact at the start of ANY combat phase so, I can accumulate various +1 to hit to the same Hero until he dies or start my next turn. The battalion rules seem to be swapped because the Massive Fang-filled weapon is from the Giant Squig.
  5. You are locked as always happens with the subfactions. I think we'll see in mixed armies with a heavy component of squigs. I don't think that subfaction is only for the squigalanche players.
  6. Trait: You can re-roll failed battleshock tests for friendly Jaws of Mork units wholly within 12" of this general. Artefact: At the start of the combat phase, you can pick 1 enemy Hero within 3" of the bearer. If you do so, until your next hero phase, add 1 to hit rolls for attacks made with melee weapons by the bearer that target that Hero.
  7. No, it says that all your Gloomspite Gitz units get the Keyword "Jaws of Mork". But the army is like always. Only the new Loonshrine or the Battalions have requirements.
  8. Yeah, but the subfaction is not only for Squigs. Most of the rules improves only Squigs but the command trait and the artifact is for all the heroes.
  9. Yep, but think about this. The commad trait and the artifact don't require that the general/hero must be a squig... So... Finally we have a very good artifact for a Trogboss, and reroll the battleshocks for troggs are superb.
  10. - All the army can re-roll to determinate de move characteristic - Loonshirne for Squig Herds, Squiggling Hoppers and Boingrot Bounderz. - Squigalanche, after the deployment up to D3 units from this battalion can move up to 6" - Command Ability: You can pick 1 friendly Mangler at any phase. Until the end of that phase you ignore the wounds to determinate de table. -Command Trait: You can re-roll battle shocks units wholly within 12" of the general -Artifact: At the start of the combat, pick 1 enemy hero within 3". All the attacks add +1 to hit made with melee weapons that targets that hero.
  11. But it implies that they are candidates to be removed in a future too. You don't make less stock that the sales indicate you need to cover a huge demand.
  12. If the subfaction permits to include grots or troggoths, we can have a very good mixed army... We need to be cunnin' lads.
  13. Well, it's one complete year with new rules... I think it's fine if it is your main army as Gloomspite are for me. The battalion is very good if the other rules make the Squigalanche a better glass cannon, if the other rules are fine the battalion is trash. The problem with the squigs are the low damage ratio they make, so when you play them you usually lose because you can't kill your enemies and then your units die with low tier units because the squigs are so fragile.
  14. Yeah!, a Webspinner on A.Spider with the spell Sneaky Distraction is one of the best wizards in the army. Also, the Scuttletide with a +2 to cast is very hard to unbind. A very hard combo is a list with a Webspinner and Skragrott as wizards of the army.
  15. Do you know when the White Dwarf subscriptors receive it? I can't wait to look at the Jaws. Thanks!
  16. Forgotten Powers is not an old publication because you still can buy it from the store. So, Legion of Grief is legal.
  17. Lumineth and General Handbook 2020 Errata/FAQ are up.
  18. It's for squigs only (it's shame that the anouncement wasn't a mixed army, my grots and troggoths needs a mixed battalion, but we know, the sales are the sales and they want to sell us more squigs). All we can hope is a megabattalion and two small battalions as always. I assume one of them will be for cave squigs and sneaky snufflers. We need that battalion.
  19. Celestial Tome: The Jaws of Mork Here we go!, Squigs battalions!
  20. The Moonclan Skrap battalion with Skragrott or the Loonboss with the Clammy Hand combo is always fine and both are the most competitive we have with the new Battleplans. I played the past weekend a list with the Gobbapalooza + grot spam and I finished 6 of 14. I only lost with a Bonesplitterz player, but the Khorne and the Stormcast matchups were fine. After that tournament, I think that the Gobbapalooza list is a bit worse than the Moonclan Skrap list.
  21. @Ganigumo I don't remember the last time I played Gloompsite Gitz without a Battalion. I always recommend playing with one at least. Yeah, I know they are overpriced with a bazillion of requisites to be optimal but, we need to improve our heroes and 1CP is always a blessing. The offensive Dankhold build I think has gone forever. I played a few times with him, but none of the artifacts are a good option for a 250 points hero. And of course, the madcap with the moonface momment is mandatory.
