I‘m not sure the Gaunt Summoner is worth it now, for the rest I mostly agree with others’ sentiments. The new rule is fun but that‘s about it, can‘t really rely on it… and since he doesn‘t include a unit of daemons, it‘s a colossal nerf despite the silver tower reinforcements (that could also backfire). A bit of a shame as he‘s probably my favorite model…

New Curseling would be a decent starting point for an exdeath conversion… that single horn (and the blue armir) immediately made me think of it. Just Amano-fy it by adding lots of patterned fabric (just greenstuff sheets) and it‘s not too shabby. 🤔 Kefka rules all though, sorry. ❤️

He got really old actually but it still broke my heart when it was his time (gone but definitely not forgotten)… unfortunately I totally understand your pain… it took me/my family now over ten years to muster the strength to get another but we as a family couldn‘t be happier now that we got another. Felt like the right time. I absolutely love dogs and animals in general. You missing yours only speaks highly for your character. Yes, indeed I am, really wanna know what else got changed - I‘m unusually quiet at the moment mostly because of a new puppy (black lab girl) though, I‘ve got no energy to complain about waiting for my battle tome. Or Lumineth, this is a worrying lack of energy for me actually. 😇 (the preview helped too) Anyways, i hope all 4 upcoming battle tomes will be balanced well.

Personally, I'm actually extremely optimistic regarding Dawnbringers. I LOVE what I've seen so far, from Witch Hunters (all of them are lovely) to other minis. The new bits don't look bad either but they're not really saying all that much IMO. I can totally imagine them to be as interesting as 40k Rogue traders and the basic troops will be great too - as i love very distinct and varied units, I hope that they either mix basic troops or make one unit human, one aelf, one duardin or something similar. Also I liked the Empire-centric POV in the Old World and I'd like this faction to be the one that grounds all the other super-fantastical ones. You know, you need the straight man to let the comedy characters shine!

3d in-game models and 3d miniature models have nothing in common pretty much, not just the polycounts are wrong but so are the overall proportions - so they could only use them for inspiration. And truth be told, sticking a totally generic (ok, they colored him blue/gold) Undivided warrior on a disc is the last thing I want. We got Tzaangors, a Fatemaster (that dude should be a bit more buff like the Curseling and you got your cool armored disc-rider) and a Magister to scratch that particular itch. But a Tzeentchian mortal elite should be as distinct as the ones from the other gods... And due to Tzaangors, i personally believe they should not be on discs. A scrappy Undivided warrior with tears in his cape and holes in his boot stuck to a disc? That's cheap and beneath us. 😎 They just need to pump out a unit that leans into the Curseling style (minus the tretchlet), maybe with totally sexy sorcerer robes and we're finally were we need to be! I see an AoS kit similar to the Exalted sorcerers personally with lots of bits as the best inspiration for the overall feel personally.
