I have some doubts regarding the weapons of the Skywardens (full melee? Full shooting?) and the Drill cannons on the Gunhaulers. But, in fact, I feel rather comfortable with this list, heavy shooting, nice buffs regarding the Skyport and the Escort... Just one question. Can I deploy the Frigate on table and then use the Endrinwork to take it out of the table?
  2. So, to sum up, can we use the cloak against the gristlegore general?
  3. Is the Aetherquartz Brooch no longer worth?
  4. The point is that he also used a spell to buff the mounts (and the King iteself, obviously) attacks. And the trait that allows it to rerolls failed hit, trying to get as much 6's as possible, that deals MWs (3 per 6, if I don't remember bad). That, combined with the fact that even though it gets charged it fight always first and for 1 cp it fights again, some armies like IJ can't do anything, just looking at it with all the hatred you have, as I did haha. What I really want as a nerf for the FeC is to avoid that combo, to combine in the same guy the Savage Strike and the Feeding Frenzy in any way. Perhaps a wording saying "the mount is not affected" or "you can't use this command ability in a mod with the Savage Strike command trait" or "a model with Savage Strike can't fight again in the same comba phase under no circumstances".
  5. Yeah you are right. My fault, I invented that part. I remember now he saved 1 cp in order of using the Frenzy. My bad, sorry!
  6. Oh, I saw that, not with 3, just 1, but good enough for 1000 points game summoning free units with free cp with free scenary, That's the word for FeC, FREE. But even with that I'm fine. The worst of the worst is that guy that almost kills what he wants and you just see with all the loathe you can, because you can't do anything else...
  7. I think he now fits because the MK costs 420.
  8. Played yesterday against FeC in a small 1000 points challenge. Most frustrated game ver played. I feel rather useless just because I can't stop in any way the King in Terror attacking first and attacking twice even being charged... With no effort at all from my rival.
  9. Played yesterday a pre toruney game, 1000 points, using IJ vs FeC. I used a slightly bomb of 10 Brutes, that could deal with the FeC Monsters. 340 points, but need the support of a Warchanter and a Megaboss and a Shaman/Ironfist. The total cost was 720. My opp was using a King in Terror, Gristlegore with the trait of attacking first, and of course, use Feeding Frenzy without spending any CP. In my turn, I activate the Ironfist, roll a 2, Brutes moves 4" more. I'm in a 8+ charge (including the +1 from IJ). I spend my 2cps on waaagh, recovering 1 and using it to more waaagh. Roll the charge, I heavily fail it. Yes, I could save the earned 1 to reroll a charge, but I need my unit of brutes to kill the King and another DRAGON next to him... My opp starts his turn, just move, buff the terror through spells, sing (1 brute less) and charge. Strikes first and kill 2 Brutes. Activate Frenzy and kill the rest. GG. What I'm complaining here is that I had to spent a lot of points, resources (in form of cps and characters auras correctly located) and a bit of luck in order to charge the enemy general, that in under any other circumstance the Brutes could easily wiped out. BUT, with no cps investment, no extra points and no extra resources, all FREE, my opp could have beated them even me charging him. That's SO UNFAIR, overall because you can'd do anything to avoid the combo. FeC MUST HAVE a heavy nerf in this combo. It's insane you can combine Savage Strike with Feeding Frenzy in a mount that shoots and fights well (fights specially well, with that trait rerolling failed hit and dealing mortal wounds "because yes") and free CP for the Frenzy. Insane and unfair. Maybe some other top armies could stop this, but... What can do armies like IJ, that relies in cc, and ONLY cc? Thanks for reading my cry xd
  10. They are extremely expensive to be added. The Huskards on Thundertusk are really valuable, and 2 FLoSH are... Risky, imho,
  11. If using Stonehorn, many of us only use 2 items: either ethereal amulet to give you protection (sadly not for mortal wounds) or thermalraider cloak, to give you the chance to move, run and charge wherever you want, ignoring screens and that stuff.
  12. I think the best is the second, with some tweaks. For instance, the FL I would put him better in a Stonehorn, giving him an insane damage output. Another option is a Hunter, general, with some puppies, that gives you more board control.
  13. I don't care about doing some conversions. I have tons of machine guns from T'au sprues, so I'm now looking for weapon teams from the Spiral of Dawn starter pack to convert into Ratling guns. But yeah, this army is a pain in the a...Neck regarding models. Lots of old-fashioned failcast models so if you want plastic only, you need or thousands of clanrats, or Pestilens or the Big Daemon Rats, with a copule of units from Skryre. Eshin 0 plastic models, so bad...
  14. I've just recently bought 2 boxes of carrion empire. Only the skaven part. I'm totally eager of starting a Skryre army, and I want to use, at most as possible, the units from the boxes. What units can I buy that I can use properly in a Skryre army? Is it good an only Skryre army? What about the Batalion + Enginecovens, are they good? I have to say, that I won't buy any failcast or metal model.
  15. You can go with a Ziflin list and drop a Frigate with 14 Thunderers and a Khemit right behind their lines. Otherwise... I have no idea.
  16. If only the part which says "all existing factions will get battle tomes ... similar to Skavens/FEC" is true, I would go crazy and poorless for sure.
  17. I think Nightvault means nothing... Look at the IJ warband...
  18. How much old was the battletomes for FeC, Skavens and (specially) Khorne?
  19. They are failcast. Enough. P.S. And horrible to my sight.
  20. Imho the best count as Yethees inside GW's catalogue are the Kurnoth Hunters. Size is more or less the same, and the models are cool enough. Just paint them in a cold/winter scheme and it's done! I want to buy some boxes of them, but I'm afraid that if I do that, the following week GW announces "hey, new Ogor/BCR battletome with new plastic (and awesome) Yethees models!"
  21. Nowadays is sooooo quite easy to snipe the Warchanter with mw... I dislike Ardfist for that reason. 2 spells at him and he is dead, and you have a useless batallion.
  22. IMHO right now only Gitz and BCR (and maybe Tyrant spam Gutbuster) can actually make a good performance at tournaments. The BCR can still dish out a good mw spam while have some good tricks with healings and Yethees, and Sabres. Sadly, that means that the most big and savage of all races of destruction are doomed to the bottom of the food chain, which is really really disgusting... We need a battletome more than any other faction I guess.
  23. Ironclad costs 420. 2 Frigates costs 480. I think I would go for 2 frigates instead of 1 Ironclad.
  24. Thanks for your comment 'lad! I think, also, that one of the worst issue for the IJ are the heavy mw output that there's out there. But it's a problem of the game not of the factions.
