  1. They showed a video last week saying July release. Unlikely that they would have had a change since then but it could be July pre-order, August release.
  2. Sounds about right. When’s the games expo, end of May?
  3. As long as someone puts it in a spoiler tag then I’d like to know as well as I will not be buying forbidden power.
  4. I thought I might try and sculpt the end of the mushroom and stick it so it looks like he’s broken it off...... doesn’t make sense but neither does it piercing the toe
  5. I still think Darkoath are the most likely “new” army for this year. Just a little more noise about them than anything else.
  6. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/05/08/a-late-bloom-for-the-sylvaneth/
  7. I hadn’t actually seen that image until now. Thanks!
  8. You mean one more each, right? Because four each seems unlikely. Death doesn’t even have four factions.
  9. Thanks for the write-up RuneBrush. Nice to see some good photos that didn’t come out of the studio. Particularly impressed with the yellow on the face and looking forward to trying some flesh tones.
  10. That is significantly more self-control than I am able to muster. I will admire your restraint as I put mine together.
  11. Got mine yesterday but will only get a chance to have a look today. And picked up a couple of the citadel woods since they’re apparently being replaced. Not a fan of the new ones.
  12. Well, ultimately underwhelming but there’s still some good stuff in there - New Warcry warband looks cool and is perfect for Slaanesh conversions just like I’d hoped, new Daemons for Heresy will fit in perfectly in Daemon armies for any system and that lion-thing (GW are really going for the lion-hybrid thing at the moment) for Underworlds could be for anything at all so I’m choosing optimism (and likely crushing disappointment) and guessing that it’s a totally new faction. Still got the Warcry painting seminar and AoS studio Q&A so hopefully someone there manages to squeeze a bit more out of them. And more picture of the Warcry warbands would be good.
  13. I am skeptical. But if these prove to be as good as they seem, I’m going to be very happy.
  14. So my bets are on full Forbidden Power reveal, full reveal of Warcry starter set and Darkoath/Slaves to Darkness preview. Admittedly, that’s been my bet for the last couple of previews now but I gotta be right eventually. Oh, and the obligatory reveal trailer that reveals absolutely nothing. If we get anything more/other than that I will be very satisfied.
  15. Single run but I’m pretty sure you’re fine if you prordered. They stop allowing pre-orders once they sell out. I wonder how much of a difference it would make if GW enforced maximum purchase limits. Most of us want one or two but I always get the impression that there are people out there buying every one they can get their hands on to flip on ebay.
  16. I don’t want any of them back and I think that should have been an option. The way it is, your results are that 100% of voters want to bring something back, you’ve dictated the result. I know this is just a friendly, casual thing for curiosities sake but it still kinda frustrates me. I do still find the results interesting and think that the thread has value though so don’t get me wrong. 109 people in favour of Tomb Kings returning (at the time of posting) is not a lot on a forum with 13,000 members though, even taking into account that not everybody will have seen the thread or voted and that those 13,000 are just a fraction of GWs total consumer base. I think GW made the right decision from a business perspective.
  17. Thanks for the heads up on that. Will have to pick some up before they’re gone.
  18. I must be in the minority but I’m not a fan of the new trees. They’re not bad, I just like the old ones better. Hopefully these are the Sylvaneth specific terrain and the old ones stay but become regular old trees. More variety is always good.
  19. Looncurse is a bit of a distraction for me as I am supposed to be finally completing Khorne and Stormcast armies but I know that I will end up with the Sylvaneth Start Collecting at some point. I probably won’t expand the Gloomspite side of things for a while, hopefully to allow for a Battlebox release around Christmas. Plan is to go Squigs and Troggoths though.
  20. I don’t think GW is underestimating demand at all, they know exactly what they’re doing. They’ve been caught out with making too many copies of a game/box before and having it sit on shelves for years so now they are deliberately keeping their limited run boxes to a smaller number that they know they can sell through. Sensible business.
  21. Well this might be the first endless spells box I buy. But I’m not using them as endless spells - that tree is going to be permanent terrain.
  22. I forgot about that. It’s a painting seminar right? So we should at least get a better, fuller view of the starter set models.
  23. I just spent three months hobby budget but I would instantly blow the rest of the years on Seraphon if they looked that good.
  24. I feel like a proper reveal will happen at Warhammer Fest this weekend. Purely speculation but it seems like a good time to show it off in full.
  25. More reveals at the Australian Championship so I thought it was worth continuing the discussion outside of the rumour thread - https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/05/04/australian-championship-warhammer-previewgw-homepage-post-1/ So the starter is very likely going to contain the only two Warband revealed so far - the Iron Golem and Untamed Beasts. Personally liking the Iron Golem a bit more at the moment but really loving all of it. I’m also hoping the goat-lion thing is the new Chaos Hounds. I’d like them to be a thing again.
