Some interesting points Mr Charisma (sorry not sure of your name).
I was using the example of winning a tournament as it was the easiest 'stat' I could get without any specific knowledge or tool (or time) to trawl through results. The best data would be if we could find out average game performance variance over books with prior knowledge of with the variable of how long the books been out. If anyone could run that data it would be great and I would be really interested to see.
i suspect @LLV has all the relevant data in the most digestible format to (most) easily run the analysis.
Ps @Jack Armstrong Mr Charisma is Mr AoS Coach / Anthony- 1

I think we could make Gitz into a 3-2 or 4-1 army with practice. @Malakree is correct - I made lots of mistakes at Sheffield (including the fluff of 2 Gargants) - and then mistakes in some of the games at GW Heat 1. I do have the advantage of having played a Grot horde army for a very long time, so I know what most things can do, but the fiddly bit went wrong a few times. I think we will need kind draws to get back to @Donal's 5-0 standard!
And I do agree that Skaven seem very good, but I can only play with one alliance due to time constraints otherwise I get very confused. And I love destruction... or Grots!
Also edit: Sorry, this is the Ironjawz chat... @Malakreeconfused me
I'd easily be able to go 4-1 at a tournament with Gits. Just not sure I can do the debuffing horde anymore. For my soul. Fed up with never finishing a game early.
Thinking a monster mash could be a fun way to go, very tempted to go back to mixed destruction and including a frostlord again.- 1

What was your general strategy with the list?
score objectives, win the scenario, vomit and kill things with frostlord. Tie up and debuff the heavy hitters

Seeing @Chris Tomlin and @Sangfroid both being order traitors is sad Generic Destruction in 2nd place, and one of only two 5 majors is nice. I would like to see the list (@Donal?) but I suspect it has at least 180 grots....
It definitely looks like destruction is better than any specific allegiances.
I want all the destruction victories. My list was:
Flying Frostlord
Hag
Fungoid General
Moonclan Shaman
60 Grots
40 Grots
20 Grots
2x3 Fanatics
Geminids

Goredrakk gives a +2 to hit bonus for one turn but at a hefty points price
He gives +2 attacks, not +2 to hit.
@Vespan do any of the realm spells give them buffs to hit? -

Let's just wait for the FAQ before worrying whether the sky is falling shall we?
GW are well aware of the issues brought to light from the Six Nations and I think we can show a little faith in them at this time.
Hang in there, it'll be ok. We won't be playing with damage 512 Grots (@Donal - your terrible terrible record is likely to be safe!)
This is my last comment on the matter until the FAQ is released.
I just want one last event to allow it so that i can bring 1 bln damage grots...
Think you're making the right decision to wait for the FAQ. Worst case scenario you can bring some house rules a few days before the event. -

Thanks, I'll let you know
Timing permitting, I'll make some custom ones on 32mm bases, but if I run out of time, I'll take you up on your kind offer! Also worth discussing with your opponent on whether to use the whole objective marker or the centre. I generally prefer the whole marker (provided all of them are the same size), but I know that some people prefer centre.
Had never actually considered it a thing until TBS The Champ Episode with @TDK- 2

Is anyone interested in joining a team? Matt Hinton and I are taking Order and Destruction, respectively but struggling for Chaos and Undead.
@Pete - Is there any chance we chance have double Order (Adam Cunis is taking order and is our other other Club member). -

Quick observation on the pack times - lunch on sunday is really 1.5 hours? I only say this as recently I see few AoS games go 2.5 hours; quite a minority are done in 1.5 hours - this then leaves a verrrry long gap for some people before playing the last game. That is all!
From experience at other Croydon tournaments 1 hour lunch break doesn't leave a lot of time for Lunch (esp if you want to avoid McDonalds or KFC). Even cheeky Nando's doesn't leave a lot of time

Tournament cost versus pricing (and why players should submit their lists correctly formatted.)

@Marc Wilson You should have risen your prices a long time ago. How quickly did Bloodtithe 2 sell out? Supply & Demand economics are a thing, and if an event is good people will pay more.
Everyone has different preferences on what an event should be, but one thing your didn't cover in the above is the TO experience & reputation. Someone with a history of putting on good events should be able to charge more because they have more experience, whereas for new TOs (or those with a history of bad events) should be charging less.
There are some great TOs out there that should be incentivised to put on more (or at the very least, keep motivated to do it).
