  1. 4 seems like a decent number. 2 mandatory. With space concerns it is going to be a struggle to get many in.
  2. No, my understanding is that the new wood box consists of 3 (new)citadel woods(which are now individual trees). 1 awakened wood = 3 of these individual trees. It seems an awakened wood can be 3-6 woods, ergo 2 boxes.
  3. The extra movement on the dryads is not to be sniffed at even. The exciting thing is that it looks like all battleline options have value. That's a great place to be in.
  4. One of the things I find most peculiar about SCE is Scions of the Storm. It was actively bad in AOS1, now decent. However, they still don't capture the image and feel of an elite strike force. I'd much prefer if you declare pre-deployment who's deploying in the sky and the only 'drops' you have are those that actually deploy on the table at the beginning. It is a small change (and has a downside - your opponent will see what is going up/down) that gives SCE a slightly greater chance to finish deploying first, with the inherent tactical advantages for that. It feels more like a strike force that takes the initiative than a conventional force. The alternative to this would be better battalions, perhaps ones with very minor advantages like GG's.
  5. I went 4-1 with a Celestant Prime at the Throne of Skulls. Granted, it is not the most competitive tournament (but more than it should be), but I played some tough armies. It is a very precise application of high damage and extremely reliable. It probably could do with being unrendable, or it's save applies to MWs too, but otherwise it is pretty decent.
  6. You can still do that! Hardly anyone ever coplies with these sorts of rules. As always, talk to your pponent and don't get het up with this
  7. Yes, this is my main issue. It is alright to say that many armies don't have more than one competitive option, but it does feel like a missed opportunity to not have some more aggressive cuts to Paladins. Or anything to try and give purpose to a lot of units.
  8. Well, Vanguard (beside raptors) haven't ever been good. It makes sense for them to give them reductions as that is what they need. Plus I'm still not convinced these changes actually improve them enough.
  9. The white is astonishingly good. Some of the other paints I'm mixed on, but the white is special.
  10. My suspicion is that StD will be merged with Everchosen/Darkoath. They did not release that battleforce for fun and we have all of these Warcry warbands coming.
  11. Well they will be changed digitally alongside the GHB FAQ.
  12. We can but hope that the new armies - Fyreslayers, FEC and Skaven get utterly nuked with huge points increases. I doubt we will, but it is the only way this makes sense.
  13. Absolutely baffling changes. Ballista at 110 is probably fine - it is only remotely excessie in multiples of 4. Evocators and Sequitors going up is expected but also the wrong way of making the other options better. I can't understand why Liberators didn't change or Judicators. Or the Lord Exorcist.
  14. The points already are free - they go up on scrollbuilder.
  15. And the fact that the temporary changes are sidelined into the separate booklet.
  16. How do we feel contrast will work on Tzaangor? They are a nightmare at the moment...
  17. We already know that Sylvaneth are delayed due to a shipping issue, probably due to an international trade dispute. It is stuck on a ship (or was, at least).
  18. What second artefact would you recommend in this list; Celestial Vindicators LA on Dracoline Lord-castellant Celestant Prime 2x10 Sequitors 5 Liberators 2x3 Dracolines Cleansing Phalanx I normally don't like list advice but I hate artefacts and they are spread across so many books...
  19. It is basically like Stormcast without the Stormhost. With some of our items there's probably a way to make that work...
  20. You should delete those... but it isn't looking good...
  21. Cool pics, it would be great to read a reflection on your list afterwards. I have to say the mats seem a little busy and distract from what look like very pretty armies.
  22. Contrary to popular belief, GW doesn't work quite as simply as this. Not to mention points costs changes are not always the best way to address balance. Vanguard has never been remarkable, except Longstrikes. In AOS1 Hunters at least had the reliability of deployment but now... they can get closer but to what end? They are really punished for their middle-ground nature.
  23. GW has admitted publicly that they underestimated demand. They are also clearly struggling for production. They want to be selling to you, they just can't.
  24. The problem is, that much of the time only have two visible models for shooting - - Alarielle and the Arch-Revenant.
