  1. The only way for me to see him staying at 140 is if they let all GoS cast Spectral Lure regardless of another one trying. I'd probably run 3-4 then, even at 140.
  2. Im hoping KO get a sky fortress terrain piece. That way it can basically be setup anywhere but has minimal impact on the table space.
  3. Unnamed KO hero is nice, but they really need another battleline choice. Tzeentch is gonna be overpowered. There is no way they aren't.
  4. I definitely feel like the healing would be a lot better if GoS spells was better. Should be 2d6 if they dont change it. Far too many times when I finally get it off I get 1-2 models back. With the way the bonereapers worded spells (Arcane Bolt, Mystic Shield) for Nagash and Arkhan I'm hoping we can get the rules worded so any number of GoS can cast Spectral Lure in a turn. Like Skaven engineers and Warp Lightning.
  5. Ok so I just dont put the helmet part on and use the ribcage plate? Thanks!
  6. Anyone happen to have a PDF of the assembly for Morghast Harbingers? The Feast of Bones one only has Archai. Want some with the other head.
  7. So for Necropolis Stalkers is it better to just go all Spirit Blades? I assume so because it seems way better with the damage aspect.
  8. I think there will be 2 new armies and 4 total new books by April.
  9. Just release a lot of new units for different armies at the same time and put them in one book/file. Like Forge Worlds Monstrous Arcanum.
  10. On the subject of price increase, they are straight up gouging. Why is the Lord of Change going up $25? Is it solely because new Demons (Keeper of Secrets, GUO) are $140? That's an absolutely ludicrous reason considering those things coming out at $140 were already ludicrous. GW is playing a dangerous game with the pricing of their products. How long until the community as a whole say "Enough is enough, we are not just wallets for you to pillage".
  11. Increasing Nagash is a joke. Nighthaunt still need tons more drops. There's no way Mourngul should cost more (or even the same) as a Verminlord Warpseer. Spirit Hosts seems to have been forgotten by GW. They need to go down if Namarti Thralls are gonna be 130/360. I mean we're on 50mm bases for cryin out loud. Nighthaunt getting punished for Legions using Grimghasts is gonna sour a lot of people who bought into NH. I know it did for me. My army needs help and it's getting punished because someone else's army is using my units WAY more effectively than my book allows.
  12. Mounrgul is listed on the last page of the Pitched Battle Profiles. Its replacing the Monstrous Arcanum Forgeworld used to put out. Seeing as they stopped working on AOS rules. It's down to 280, which is a real joke.
  13. I have watched the gmg video and seen all the points changes. Either GW intends to go to 3 month updates, or they are wildly out of touch with how the game is played. New books aside (FEC, Skaven, Gitz, Khorne) they are changing things to adapt to a game over 6 months old. Nagash 100% did not need to go up, nor the necromancer. Longstrikes went down?!?!? Who thought that needed to happen? All the old army drops are basically meaningless considering no small units exist to fill in the gap. This game is quickly becoming the Standard format of MTG. You must buy a new deck (army) every year or be left in the dust. (DoK being the exclusion to that)
  14. So I saw the drops, we are in trouble. Based on the drops I will be able to fit a Tomb Banshee in. None of the battalions dropped, our named heros are still wildly overcosted. Dreadscythe Harridans are a good unit, but with no real way to debuff bravery they are basically unplayable. I guess we hope for drops to start happening sooner, and hope for 3 months updates. The book is just bad. (The endless spells could be free and I still wouldn't play them)
  15. I have to believe this is them shifting gears to 3 month points updates. To do so little for so many struggling armies is whack. Another year of being dominated by newer armies will sour the game for a lot of people.
  16. I'm asking for Nighthaunt not to be punished because our one good unit was taken in LoN. Just take Grimghasts out of the LoN roster and dont give them points increase. That would be the easiest solution. Or, conversely, lower the points of NH to be actually competitive as a NIGHTHAUNT army. I feel like everything we have is over costed because we "might" get 5 waves of terror a turn. As a NH player, I can assure you it goes off at best 3 times a game, and its random so you cant even plan for it.
  17. We got the shaft hard imo. Mourngul is a joke at 280. Shoulda been 220-240 when you compare it to stuff at those points. Black Coach should probably be 200-220. Guess the army will continue to haunt the lowest tiers as it has since day 1. Really sick of getting punished because LoN made our one unit look good. Could have easily just took it out of the LoN roster. My ONLY hope is that because points only changed 10-20 in most places they will hopefully be going to 3 month updates. With the points being a free download now it's easy to do and they can continually shift things to make better parity.
  18. (All this is based on the blurry NH page picture that's been circulated) With these points changes I sincerely hope they are going to 3 month updates. Nighthaunt got basically nothing and are still as terrible as ever. And our one good unit got bumped, not because it's an allstar in NH, but because of Legions of Nagash. Mourngul down 20 points? What a joke. GW are you really trying to tell me a Mourngul is better than a Verminlord Warpseer? 20 points at a time is good if they are going to do this every 3 months. If they do 6 months or yearly they need to do more steep drops. Because every new army is literally destroying old armies that weren't broken from the get go (DoK). And that leads me to believe they are just doing power creep on purpose to sell more stuff and force people to do new armies or be left in the dust.
  19. Well I have hopes that we will get a terrain piece much sooner than the updates. Stormcast IDKn and DOK all need terrain pieces as well. So I could see Nighthaunt getting their terrain piece in short order with those others. Bare minimum for them to be 2.0 fully.
  20. Yes but in video games you would need to program the changes. In tabletop you just change the points, then if they are bad you revert them in 3 months. If what they are saying is correct and FEC don't get an update in this book does anyone really thing Gristlegore for the next 12 months will be fun?
  21. To make us competitive without making a whole new book they could give us a sweet terrain piece. Ive long since said I want a Herdstone type model, but it debuffs bravery. Starts at 6", goes up 6" every turn. Give non-nighthaunt units -1 bravery equal to the current battle round. Maybe also heal summonable units in range to match the battleshock immunity of herdstone.
  22. I'm certain Nighthaunt need a new book to get out of the lower tiers. Too many armies have mortal wounds on 6's now and get to keep attacking, AND have better to hit and wound. Spirit Hosts are a big example of this. Hitting on 5's and wounding on 4's without rend is atrocious. Not to mention the fact that some units are basically unkillable for our army if they take Ignax's Scales. We just came out too early in 2.0 and got the shaft. And because of Nagash, I fully expect Grimghast Reapers to go UP in points or lose their horde discount. Regardless, I will be happy to field more spooky bois.
  23. Yeah everyone I know who took the survey voted for the 3 months as well. It may seem quick to some, but 3 months ago was forever in balance terms. 12 months ago people thought Nighthaunt we're gonna be very powerful. I have seen successive armies come out and be more powerful every single time. Since GW deals in 20 point jumps, doing it every 3 months makes a lot more sense. If something goes too low, its only 3 months away from a fix. Whereas with the current 12 that thing becomes a problem all year. As for TO's, its not difficult to have everyone put their list into Warscroll builder and print out a copy, or keep it on their phone. I feel like this should be standard procedure at this point.
  24. All our abilities feel like 2.0 Beta abilities. Some of our units have mortal wounds on unmodified 6's, but the attack ends (and theyre horrid like Spirit hosts at 120 points which hit on FIVES and wound on fours). Compare to Khorne which continues attacking, or Fyreslayers which does 2 mortal wounds and keeps attacking. Our "extra combat" ability is totally random and does basically nothing if the turns are in the wrong order and we get charged. Compare to FEC 1 point extra combat, or you can take a delusion and get free ones every turn. Or Fyreslayers who get to pile in and attack first out of order for one command point, and still attack later in the phase. Ironically the most fair of these being Slaanesh who gets to use a unit again on their activation. Wave of Terror is great, if it goes off. As someone who mains Nighthaunt, I can tell you that it will go off on average 1-2 times a game. And the longer the game, the weaker it is because the units that it goes off on are weaker and you have no choice in the matter. All new books get to pick a Court/Hoursehold/Lodge/etc to gain more abilities whereas we just get the stock 6, which most of are pretty bad. We are supposed to be the army that attacks opponent's bravery yet our entire book only has 1 thing that lowers bravery, by 1, and it's our allegiance ability. This is WOEFULLY overvalued by GW when EVERYONE gets multiple ways to basically avoid the battleshock phase. This essentially nullifies our Feed on Terror allegiance ability, which isnt great to begin with. Our heroes are exceedingly weak for the points they cost. Lady Olynder and Kurdoss being the big culprits here. 240 and 220 respectively for 7 wounds. They put so much value on ethereal, but then put that damn amulet in the Malign Sorcery book so every other army could have their best unit with a 3+ save be unrendable. Our entire army cannot benefit from cover so that tactic is thrown right out the window. I love the spooky boys, but they are in dire needs of cost reductions, and in some cases (glaivewraiths, endless spells) complete warscroll reworks. There is a reason the army is the lowest win% of all 2.0 armies. The main problem is Nagash lists take huge piles of Grimghast Reapers and bring them back for one command point so the rest of our army suffers because everyone thinks we are THAT good. When in reality we do not have access to gravesites or invigorating aura. I'm well aware that every army "pays a cost" for the abilities of their allegiance, but Nighthaunt got the shaft. ALL of our abilities are weaker than 2.0 armies, AND we have high points costs.
