  1. Really hope with a new book they adjust the menagerie battalion and our summoning. I don't see how you can do any dmg with such a list. The only ability is a better summoning and blocking with trees and plaguebearers but besides that every offensive army will chew through the list pretty fast I fear
  2. Yeah I totally understand your point. If you don't go first with this list it's hard to win... In my experience I had very few matches with less drops and funnily enough most of them let me begin either way... So honestly speaking they didn't understood the strategy of the list... Last year nurgle was very underperforming and not much played on tournaments, so I think they underestimated me. Another good option is to use belakor ability on the important front objective taking unit. In this case you have a 2/3 chance that you will get that mid objective first even if your opponent decides to begin. Either way, let us know how your tournament went and if you missed the LoB because he is what makes the Plaguebearers really juicy as shield
  3. I've played a quite similar list for the last year even before our new hosts... One advise from my side: try to squeeze a LoB in for his command ability. I know it's an extra drop but believe me in this list with this strategy he is worth it.
  4. I think the main issue with glottkin is that to make up for his points you have to use his CA every turn and same goes for Harbinger who is essential for our mortal lists... These are 2 CPs a turn which we just don't have...
  5. Not sure about Gutrod he feels so expensive for this restricted deep strike turn 1. I would like to add a LoA for the mibility to summon in the backfield of the enemy and for that juicy RR1s to hit for all Rotbringers within 7'. But would mean I have to drop 5 BKs and Gutrod and then there are useless 90 points left... Or drop 5 BKs and reduce one 20 stack to 15... So losing 10 BKs overall, adding LoA and have again useless 30 points left over hmm difficult PS: LoA dropped to 190 too.
  6. Casting Cogs and turning the wheel are 2 casts which only Fecula could achieve. And even then without unbinds (some of them board wide...) you need both casts to go off. I mean yeah it could help, but honestly I would prefer a GUO for 320 which is a constant 3' move buff and your opponent can't benefit from it and of course GUO always has 2 casts and little cast bonus to turn the wheel etc... Fecula in addition with Cogs you are not at 320 points but not too much missing 😅 PS: or maybe just 10 more kings for 280
  7. Battleshock immunity for arkanauts is very strong... 2 ways with hero you can use his gold for command ability or use arkanaut gold for direct battleshock immunity. If this is gone it would hurt us/me a lot
  8. Mass Blightkings ftw... Don't even bother about casting anything Blight cyst and Max blightkings in all variations... 20,15,10,5... Swarm objectives and hope your 240 wounds outlast the opponent... Ah damn wait WHO got like 50 to 60 Blightkings Oo???

  10. Hm still you have the issue with your casts getting off VS the top tier armies having the power to shut your whole magic down. Bust still 30 PBs for 260 would be juicy 😍

  12. Unfortunetaley if you know your 1 match up and you list tailering vs this. The spell in the bottle with the right endless spell is always an auto-include. Makes me just a little bit sad not to have other even competetive choices and playing the WLV now for 3 games vs my friends I ve started to take it out of my list because it feels not very good in a friendly game 😅 if you know what I mean....
  13. Quick rule question guys: Allying Gotrek in our army I believe he is not able e.g. In zilfin to always run 6 and use once per battle extra move in hero Phase? In my language the battletome say something like "friendly units to barak zilfin can use this ability" so you could argue that gotrek as an ally is a "friendly unit of my barak zilfin army"? I know he doesn't get the keyword and I'm pretty sure in English it must be worded more straight and that he is at the end not able to use those perks? Thanks for a feedback. Ps: otherwise gotrek in zilfin would be bonkers good
  14. I would always suggest 2 SC boxes... With 10 thunderers, 6 balloon boys and 2 gunhaulers you can't go wrong. And the 2 little Heros you can consider using 1 as endrinmaster and 1 you can change into a navigator or khemist with some bits.
  15. Hey! It's once per cast. So with your 2 cast GUO you can use it 2 times for each spell. Ah and of course always 1 time for a unbinding try.
  16. Artefacts are so strong in KO that most of the time that 2nd Artefacts alone is worth the battalion tax. Adding the additional CP, some drop reduction and the batallion ability makes it kind of a shame to pass a battalion. Although I have to admit that another gunhauler (3) sounds tempting and fun
  17. Its 3 drops and you are not out vs casting or shooting... Because Belakor skill functions turn1 if you want and if they really focus everything in the GUO totally fine You lose if you are not able to hide Lob and shooting the plaguebearers with minus 4to hit will be hard... So you losing against 1 drops or 2 drops who can rush objectives because you won't push them anywhere without any dmg To be fair this is the biggest shooting counter list out there...

My defense list was this wanderers list but currently I'm more leaning into a mix with more offensive because you just can't win a match with this list if there isn't a kind of middle objective which you can grab.   19. I think the MW is only proccing if the reroll is a 6 too... Don't ask me what is the exact rule for that. Someone out of this forum can surely post it, but I'm very sure that's the way it is played. And therewith the whole list crumbles due to 0 dmg output. And if we only look at objective play I would highly suggest a LoB and mostly adding belakor too. But this is only my preference and was for me a stable 2 win out of 3 games list on my last 2 tournaments, sadly months ago... Tome of poxes is totally waste artefact in my opinion... And very important it only works on the lore spell, so in your case only on favored poxes. Better go with for example endless gift and send GUO into the fights and tie up the enemy units.   20. @hurben One quick comment about list3 Matching witherstaff on your general in wanderers with the general trait is not a very good option. At least don't think you will bounce any mortal wounds back... One last gift is as far as I know only wholly within 12 of your general so 1:1 with the witherstave
  21. Yeah @Grimrock thanks for that example. That's a good one. Of course there are many "ifs" all buffs go off on marauders like prayer, hero aura is wholly within, bloodsecrator etc. and yes that can threaten them. And I think all your buffs included there is not another unit capable for that dmg than the current marauders Some thoughts from my side. First the half charge/move is irrelevant due to your 2 drop you always will go first VS std and run up... Sure as mentioned from me before snipping Harbinger is possible. This is why I favor the 20 kings because it's way more easy to hide Harbinger somewhere and have still 1 king within 7. What's so beautiful about that list, you don't rely of any casts/prayers or something. The epitome just messes up with some of enemy casts. Last but not least if you add the buffs to marauders, you can also add witherstave or rust fang to the blightkings and with the MW per dead BK the marauders should look not too good too after the counter attack At the end no one can have everything and in my opinion it's sometimes better to focus on 1-2 strength and not try to be midocre at different stuff. But maybe it's also only me because my casts or unreliable buffs don't go off that much Either way thanks for the feedback and good example!
  22. No offense but I don't see anything which puts this list in front of 45 blightkings with epitome or LoA. 2 Sorcerer for 240... without any casting bonuses they are just bad. Take the epitome for 200 and add a palisade for 30 points... 2x nurglings.. They won't do anything for you except if you are lucky and can place them in enemy territory you gain some additional contagion points... (which I try to do with summoning, in 1/3 of the games even turn1) You increase drops from 2 to 4... Which is the worst change in my eyes. Also it hurts to see you slipping 2 times the max bonus for 20 blightkings, in fact you swapping 2 nurglings vs 10 blightkings. You feel it's a slow army? I don't know with fixed 6 run in blessed sons and plus 1 to run and charge and a good positioned tree I don't feel to bad about our speed. RR misses vs - 1rend, you talking about plague cyst VS blight cyst? If so I can very easily tell you that the - 1 rend is in 90% of the cases better. Alone because you don't need the hero within 3 of them to have the ability like it is in the plague cyst. Math hammer yeah I was hoping a little bit you show us something. I'm pretty sure there is nothing/not to much out there which deals that much dmg. The real deal will be to keep the Harbinger save and the blightkings within 7 Taking the objectives without killing blightkings, yeah that's an option but most other horde units will lose a fight VS the blightkings due to 5 save or something. Only mortek guard is a problem but you should be able to block them outside 6 due to no teleport or run and charge ability. Sorry a lot of theory hammer here and I will stop it now I totally understand that this isn't a S tier army or that it is appealing to play with/against. But man at least it's very nice looking on the board with 45 big kings 😍
