  1. @KingBrodd WAKE UP MY LIEGE! YOU HAVE GOTTEN YOUR WISH!!!
  2. Probably depends on the mixture of new and old miniatures GW releases, as well as the rulebook of course.
  3. Unfortunately this formula of Hero = new units does not always come true (just look at half of any "versus" box), but I didn't know about the Blacktalon stuff so who knows?
  4. God Bless all forms of the warhammer community: Whenever a model doesn't match our expectations we typically complain for a few minutes, then bust out the green stuff, random bits from various kits, and a hobby knife/saw and get to work. Last time I saw a 40k forum be "ok" was when the Orks got their two massive expansions/updates (speed freaks and Beast Snaggas).
  5. I'm currently listening to Godeater's Son, and in chapter 13 the author reveals that one of the human characters is a "cursewright" trained by "Chaos Duardin of the Hell-forges." While this is probably nothing, it's another piece of lore to add to the growing pile of AOS chorf knowledge.
  6. I mean I want to see an army of Conan The Barbarian/Spear from Primal Football/Soccer Hooligans that doesn't involve an eight pointed star on the tabletop. I feel like "The War of The Broken Promise" is the AOS equivalent of "The War of Vengeance/The Beard" but with Chorfs and Kruleboyz instead of elves and dwarfs. We know that the two factions "work" together via hobgrot proxies, and that both are actually cheating the other out of the "good stuff," but I want to know why this is the case.
  7. Compromise: Bonesplitterz stay, but instead of naked Orcs they become bone and leather wearing skirmishers. "Naked" Orcs are transferred to new Chorf "Laborers" unit. Both factions become playable in TOW and AOS.
  8. *shrugs* I quite literally have no skin in the Stormcast Eternals vs COS debate since I mainly collect/paint/play Chaos and Death, and so far my preferred sub-factions have been getting decent releases. Though your prediction does concern me @The Lost Sigmarite, as I thought the roadmap put COS in the mid summer, but the current trend paints them as a fall release (which threatens the rumored TOW drop)....
  9. Forgive me for complaining but is anyone else tired of the 40K articles?! We get it there’s a new edition dropping! But how about some AOS content so we can craft theories about stuff that might be coming?!?! It doesn’t even have to be related to LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!! Since CA is teasing Total War Pharaoh (I’m probably maining Rameses or Seti when they reveal him) I have enough Egyptian content to entertain me.
  10. My money is on some kind of insect or slug, meaning it could belong to Gitz, Nurgle, Sylvaneth, or the bloody Silent People.
  11. This Month I plan to finish my Slaanesh Warstomper conversion (based on Kragnos). Once he's done I'll get to work on my spell casters (Curseling, Magister (disc and on foot), Shardspeaker, chaos sorcerer and Tzaangor Shaman).
  12. Hey Everyone! I’ve working on this kitbash of Kragnos and the Keeper of Secrets kit and was wondering if you all could spare a thought/critique. I’m thinking of running it as either using the Helbane rules or as a Warstomper Megagargant.
  13. I honestly have been hoping for another GW sponsored Narrative Event, so far they've been real fun... At least for AOS. I hope we get another Malign Portents event in the near future: something that directs the lore in a unique direction based on our choices (barring the fact that the models released at the end were already prepared 2-3 years in advance).
  14. I play Tzeentch in AOS and Nurgle in 40k, I know exactly what happens when you hope for something.
  15. Agreed @KingBrodd! Now then, let us hope those lean weeks are filled with stuff for AOS and TOW, and not Kill-Team, Horus Heresy, and Necromunda....
  16. Somebody give this guy an axe or a scythe, cause he looks amazing and I want to use him in AOS.
  17. I’m sorry but the GIANT SCISSORS ARE SO FUNNY!!!
  18. Dang, that is disappointing.... Oh well! back to working on my Keeper of Secrets/Kragnos kitbash! Lady @Enoby and @MitGas, could I get your combined opinions on the matter?
  19. I think @EonChao means the destruction of the mind/sanity. The Gitz operate in dark places and make frequent use of psychedelic shrooms and magic, effectively destroying the minds of both the user and their victims in order to bring about an age of darkness and mania.
  20. Unlike the last three, Chorfs have gotten decent lore updates and two(!) plastic kits related to them in AOS.
  21. They're beautiful..... but I must remain strong! LONG LOST NEHEKHARA AND MYSTERIOUS ARABY ALL THE WAY!!! Plus the chaos corrupted denizens of those two realms.....
  22. Seeing as GW has previewed weapons for Tomb Guard and a Liche Priest’s staff, my money is on 10-20 Tomb Guard, a new unit of skeletal warriors, a Tomb King/Prince, and the GLORY OF LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!!!
  23. I think this is the most likely scenario for me as well. I won't lie, I'm pretty happy that of the factions "returning," my two favorites are getting rules and models straight off the starting gun (Tomb Kings and Warriors of Chaos), but I understand that this can be frustrating for everyone else. I would argue that the reason certain factions are not getting rules immediately (Vampire Counts, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, etc), is because GW currently has plans for them over in AOS. We just saw the Lizardmen get a massive glow-up (pun), and the Vamps have gotten a pretty decent refresh over the past three-four years. We also know that there is some kind of plan for Cathay, since apparently CA has an entire army book to draw units from (an ARMY BOOK!). Good things are coming my friends, they just take time.
  24. That feeling you get when your faction is getting support fresh out the gate! BY LONG LOST NEHEKHARA LETS GOOO!!!
