Brother Mayhem
Hey all, Painting and rebasing a ton of models for my Death force at the moment. I'm looking at potentially going to events in the future, and I was wondering how I should base my foot heros (e.g Wight King, Vampire Lord, Necromancer). Whilst I want to go with 32mm for aesthetic reasons, is 28mm what GW have them on/ any of you guys? Cheers all!
WillofNagash
i think they only still sell them on squares. I would just go with what looks better for you as there is no real official size. Check out the part of this forum with base sizes, i think they recommend something.
LJ26
They had a 32mm for the Crypt ghast courtier in the flesh eaters box, I think 32 mm is standard for all human sized foot heroes
RuneBrush
The Necromancer comes with a 32mm base (and looks boss on it). The Wight King and Banshee are still using square bases (sculpted ones) so you'll need to snip the base edges off and sand it flat. I've done this with the Wight King and put him onto a 32mm and think it looks really good alongside the rest of the army (all my skeletons are on 25mm bases). CoffeeGrunt
I tend to go for 32mm+, basically whatever fits comfortably and looks right. My Vampire Lord conversions are on 40mm because they ended up being pretty hefty in size.
