Broxus
Quick question. What is considered a save roll? Does Nurgle disgustingly resilient or chaos talisman rolls count as a save rolls?
rokapoke
No, those are not save rolls. As far as I'm aware, save rolls only occur due to combat or shooting, as the result of a successful "to wound" roll by the attacker.
Dez
Funny I was just looking into this, as it's sort of a throwback to Warhammer Fantasy which had Ward Saves taken after armor saves. They are distinct, reference Making Attacks: 3. Save Roll. You make a save roll vs wounds, all other rolls after that (like Witness to Destiny) prevent damage (this is in the FAQ). BaldoBeardo
Yes to all the above. A save roll uses the Sv value on the unit's profile. Anything else is an ability.Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
KHHaunts
Same as above. While it hasent happened yet ifthere was an ability that said specifically that it dealt a wound like in the combat phase (bypassing the hit and wound rolls.but not the save) that could count. But thats really what mortal wounds are for. Like most rules the specific type of roll only occurs exactly where it says in the rules unless something specifically tells you otherwise
