L.Bromley Posted October 20, 2016 Share Posted October 20, 2016 Hey Guys So seeing as Crypt Ghouls are the bread an butter of any FEC army just how important is the Ghast Courtier?? I feel he is massively essential to survivability and combat threat of the ghouls but I just can't seem to fit one in my list, is he that important?? Help?? Nico Posted October 20, 2016 Share Posted October 20, 2016 I would only take him as a necessary evil within the Ghoul Patrol formation and only to give off the 6+ ward save. His buff is awful as it requires you to select him to activate first and he isn't terribly likely to kill a model either unless versus 5+ save archers. TerrorPenguin Posted October 20, 2016 Share Posted October 20, 2016 Yeah I quite like them, but they don't go into combat, I keep them between ghouls but tucked away if I can. The Varghulf courtier is much better but you can get two ghoul courtiers for the price of the vargulf, which means less worries about placement.
