Allied units and battleline

We can't find anything that says that Allied units are not battleline. The only thing that we found is that they don't count for the minimum battlelines required to play Matched Play.

Can I triple them like any other battleline unit from my army? Can they be Galletian Veterans?

I would say yes and yes as long as they are unconditional battlelines. After all, if they did lose their battlefield role when allied, the rule about not counting for the minimum would not be needed.

I think there was a FAQ about that (or maybe it was summoned units) back in 2.0, but they removed it and some of the new GSes imply that summoned units can be battleline, and it'd be odd if that didn't go for allies too. So I'd say yes allies are battleline until there's some specific FAQ ruling that says otherwise.

What s weird is they left the rules f9r coalitiin unit do not count toward your number of  battleline in the battle traits in the app, but no mention of allies. Hopefully this gets clarified soon
