# of Endless Spell models

Fluttershy

Question

is it possible to cast the same endless spell every turn?

Turn1 : Wizard casting Pendulum - Pendulum is set up

Turn2: Wizard casting Pendulum - Pendulum (2) is set up

and so on..

only restriction i can find is Malign Sorcery Page 53 "[..] you must have a model for the spell available [..]"

** found it **

Generals Handbook, Page 48

Picking your Army

"[..] Endless spells have Pitched Battle
profiles and a points cost. Bypaying
the spell’spoints cost, all WIZARDS
in the player’sarmy know that
endless spell, and the player can
use (and re-use) one endless spell
model of the appropriate type in
the battle. A player cannot take the
same endless spell model more than
once for their army, but can take any
number of different endless spell
models (for example, you could not
take two BalewindVortex models). [..]"

So wait, can the two said both cast the same endless spell (if they have the model, and it's in the army list)?

In the Matched play rules in the Main Rule Book it details that you can only have one of any named endless spell in play at any one time per side in the game. So If you case a Balewind Vortex then as along as that spell is on the table you cannot cast it again, even if you've got a second model of the vortex. Now if that first vortex is dispelled and no longer on the table then you can cast it again with your wizards.

The only exception to that is the rule that you may only cast a named spell once per turn. So you couldn't cast and then unbind an Endless spell in the same turn and then cast it for a second time in that same turn.

Note these are matched play rules, in narrative and open play its up to you and your opponent to agree on the status of endless spells and if you can cast them more than once.
