Balewind and arcane sac with endless spells

Do Balewind Vortex and Arcane Sacrifice allow you to place Endless spells further than what it says in the warscroll for these spells?

The key to realise is that Spells and Endless Spells are two different keywords in the game. Therefore anything that affects a "spell" is not going to affect an "Endless Spell" and vis versa. It's why there's specific mention that wizards can unbind Endless Spells and its not just assumed that they can because they can unbind Spells. 

 

Note as far as I'm aware this affects both buffs and debuffs. So just like you can't range-boost an Endless Spell with a spell ability; you also can't reduce its range with a spell debuff ability.

Q: Do things that increase the range of a caster’s spells also apply to the distance at which an endless spell can be set up from the caster?

A: No. Things that increase the range of a spell’s effects do not apply to the distance at which an endless spell can be set up. By the same token, things that allow you to measure the range of a spell from a different location to the caster cannot be used when setting up an endless spell.

Not really, there are situations when something affecting spell also affect endless spell, right now only thing that comes to mind are abilities to ignore spell effects, those were FAQed to work against both normal and endless spells

Does this FAQ mean that we cannot use umbral spellportal to cast an endless spell from the second portal instead of from the caster (in terms of range)?

Yes - I think when GW released this FAQ this was one combo that was specifically mentioned that could not happen. It's why the Spell portal went fast from almost an auto-include to a powerful, but optional and situational include.

No. There was an FAQ regarding this in the Malign Scorcery that stares any abilities that extend range of spells so not extend the range you set up endless spells.

Just as a quick note a nonwizard who can unbind spells like a wizard can still attempt to unbind the endless spell as it is being cast but not after it is in play.
