Sleboda
Hey folks, I have a Ruined Temple table tile set from Secret Weapon's Kickstarter and I'm ready to paint it. I want it to match my Necrons, which is neither here nor there, but really I just want a nice, durable grey base that will take washes, highlights and effects. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good spray to use for this?
Lucio
Administrarum Grey Spray will work fine, preferably over a Chaos Black undercoat. Alternatively, GW has just released bulk packs of paint for covering Realm of Battle boards
RuneBrush
On my realm of battle boards I've used Plastikote black primer followed by Plastikote matt grey spray. Give a really nice mid-grey super durable finish that has a bit of texture to prevent models sliding over the plastic (I have used Chaos Black on the edges as I wanted a pure black rather than the charcoal black the primer gives you). They're also significantly cheaper than the GW alternative (£6.24 per can and each can will cover 3 boards). Not sure how they'll take washes as I plan to airbrush shadows etc on mine
