Lord Graves Posted April 24, 2018 Share Posted April 24, 2018 Hey everyone! Working on my Vanguard build for my Soul Blight army. I'm a bit stuck. Soul Blight does not have a ton of HQ options and I'm trying to decide between two more Bat Swarm units or one more Vampire Lord on Nightmare. Here is what I plan on taking first. Vampire Lord - Chalice of Blood, Nightmare, Mist Form, Crimson Wing, Swift Death Blood Knights (5-vamp) - Hornblower, Kastellan, Standard Bearer Blood Knights (5-vamp) - Hornblower, Kastellan, Standard Bearer Bat Swarms (2-swarms) Bat Swarms (2-swarms) So, should I grab four more bases of Bat Swarms? Add another Vampire Lord on Nightmare? Take 5 more Blood Knights and drop all the Bat Swarms? Thanks in advance! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The LVO list probably fairs better under the new battletome then the B&G one but I don't play death. Below is the Best Death list at LVO 2018 Allegiance: Soulblight Leaders Vampire Lord (140) - Nightmare Vampire Lord (140) - Nightmare Vampire Lord (140) - Nightmare Vampire Lord On Zombie Dragon (440) - General - Command Trait : Mist Form - Deathlance & Shield & Chalice - Artefact : Sigil of the Sanguine Throne Units 5 x Blood Knights (260) 5 x Blood Knights (260) 9 x Vargheists (480) Reinforcement Points (120) Total: 1980 / 2000 And this took best death at one of the large UK events (Blood and Glory 80 man event if I recall) This list is from memory as B&G isn't backed up on either site but the lists are kicking around somewhere online... Thank you for letting me know the Blood Knights were nerfed. To be honest though getting a slain model back in your hero phase was silly strong.
