NurglesFirstChosen
This isn’t clear on the warscroll, but is the offering made before or after the casting roll?
rokapoke
I would assume it's before you roll -- you make the offering for Nurgle's boon to improve your chances of success for the unknown result.
heywoah_twitch
"You can then add 1 to the casting or unbinding roll." Definitely before you roll.
NurglesFirstChosen
Thank you. That is how I have been playing it so far. Just didn’t want sell myself short if I was doing it wrong. I think the wording is an ambiguous as it doesn’t say that the casting roll you add it to has taken place yet or not. This will hopefully be included in an faq. Screwface
Agree that it's ambiguous. The "then" part doesn't stop it from being usable after the spell is cast.
Turragor
I see no ambiguity. An attempt is before success or failure (so before the roll). However, others see it. So I guess it is ambiguous to some.
