  1. Well you have to check the bonus and buff that the other guy in the same army can offer. Maybe disposseded warriors can be buffed a lot with heroes etc, but the statline of phoenix guard show the best they can be.
  2. Jesus that's impressive ! Nice choice of army =D but you bought everything in one shift, you are crazy =D that's a lot of work !
  3. Do they speak about ogors in the battletome? My gutbusters are feeling lonely =(
  4. Image from the facebook page of GW Brussels. Comment: "oooooh who is this little guy?" Any guess?
  5. Well the new article confirm that squig hopper is dual kit: one with night goblin and sword, the other with knight goblin and lance. So the kit with squig is going to be dual too. I wonder what is the other kind of squig!
  6. I do however have a question: are the squigs and squigs hoppers in the same kit? I think the article of Community talk about dual kit but there is a lot of difference between the squigs with herder and the squigs with hoppers... Maybe both boxes are dual-kit and we have another sort of each (like for the fanatic: where you have the fanatic and shroom-fanatics, maybe we are going to get the squigs / other form of (shroom?)squigs and the squig hoppers / other form of squig hoppers... Otherwise, if that is just one kit for squigs/squigs hoppers, that kit is going to leave A LOT of spare pieces... What do you think?
  7. Totally agree with skabnose, i think they did the right thing by keeping the night goblin theme with moon, fungus and squigs. And its smart to make the book a combo of night goblin and spiderfang. But i am not ultra-enthousiastic with the new model: they are terrific but dont appeal me. And i waited the squigs! but they dont seem very impressive. I'm wauting a big beast! Hopefully my gutbusters will get something in 2019...
  8. Best thing GW can do is to give a fluffy twist allowing to play the old minis as count as the new game. for instance, if the light elves have some kind of non-flying cavalry, people could use the dragon blades as this cavalry ("in some old cities, the knights of hysh ride a pure breed of horses and not a luminescent beast"). To make a parallel, they could allowing the hold imperial gryph-knight to have the same warscroll as vanguard palladors, or as fulminators.
  9. You can easily swap the hunter for a butcher 😃 You have no cat and no Skal, so...
  10. Totally agreed! The ironblaster should be something unreliable from afar but ultra-deadly if shot close to the target (so like 6+ to hit at 24+ ft, 5+ to hit from 18+ ft, 4+ to hit from 12+ ft, 3+ to hit from 6+ ft and 2+ to hit within 6 inches). And of course do more dmg in combat. That would be hilariously fun to have a big cannon but to decide to shot it point blank ^^ suits well the ogor nature!
  11. It looks like some organic weapon who shoot claws. The armor is a sign of chaos and exclude tyranide/skaven/greenskins So definitely Chaos.
  12. OH MY GOD! Anyone else noticed that the rogue trader in the video just recruited a ranger eldar in his team? Just like the rogue trader Vhane Glorious! What if the adventurer of WH Blackstone Fortress are the same? (aka the rogue trader, a female imperial guard, a male ranger eldar and a techpriest) ??? You heard it here first.
  13. Totally! And that is why i think that sylvaneth should be in Destruction. I wonder what the warscroll for AoS will show. I hope it will be interesting to field them!
  14. Those are really nice models! the skeletons looks good, and finally Death got new zombies models ! (ok, only three and for blood bowl... but they do look really good!) No idea what is the big guy. Some kind of Zombie Ogor?
  15. It doesnt look very organic to me with those "buttons"... I see it more as a klaw for destruction; grot or ironjawz. But if this is "organic" , then it could ve a horn and not a claw. That would make more sense to me. A horn of a new daemonette of a new herald..
  16. I agreed for the first part: there is no reason for GW to do 2 brand new armies of elves in 2019, not after DoK and Idoneth. I will be less surprised if they just put back together the biggest part of dark elves (darkling covens & order serpentis) in a battletome with as new models only Malerion and maybe one dual-kit unit and endless spells. The same for light elves (White Lions, Phoenix Gard, Eldritch Council, Order Draconis...) in a battletome with new models for Tyrion and Teclis, 1 dual-kit and endless spells. It would have more sense, and they can always expand those faction after, or re-imagine some units. The same way they have done with Beast of Chaos: new battletome with older faction, re-packaging of some models + 1 model (herdstone) and endless spells. I think BoC players are happy (maybe 1 or 2 models more would have been fun). Otherwise, it would make really A LOT of elves, where there is actually no human (barring Stormcast, who are not really 'human' anymore). But i'm really waiting for new battleforces and Start Collecting (those namarti are expensive for a unit who is not dual kit!)
  17. Actually, in the old lore there is a chaos god named Zuvassin. If i remember well, he is the god whose goal is to undo the plans of everybody, everywhere, everytime. It may just be that.
  18. Its definitely some part of a Flying Grot Drakkar. You heard it here first.
  19. Has anyone already tested the evocator on dracoline? They are damn expensive (100pts/mini) but are they worth it? They seems killy (even if no rend or almost) but is 5 wound and 4+ not too low for a 100pt model?
  20. Hey guys! i dont now if that is the good thread to talk about it, but i'd like to have your advies on how to counter armies similar to ours in AoS 2.0; namely Blades of Khorne, Ironjawz etc... because if Gutbusters want to be in close combat, that is also the goal of these armies, who have heroes giving bonuses to them. And we dont have a lot of possibilities to take out their Hero, especially the ones who gives them bonuses. So far, i tried to boost the defense of our ogors and minimise the damages of the enemy, but that didnt work and i got table rased. Another time, i tried to out-brutalize them and kill a lot of bloodreavers etc... thniking that there is no point to have a hero who boost the troops if there is no more troops. That didnt work either but i had more success. Last time i tried to be sneaky and took several Gorgers, but they come a little too far to be surprising for the enemy. I cant see in the Destruction allegiance abilities & artefact nor in the realm-specific artefact en spells a tool who will allow us to counter these kind of armies, am i missing something? And another thing: a contrario of GA Chaos, Order or Death, we dont have anything we need in allies. I was searching for a unit with a good save to hold the train, but the best i saw was the black orcs (4+ reroll of ones with the shield) or a big pack of moonclan grots (who flees easily). So we are stuck with a lot of units whose purpose is to attack and not hold the terrain. Thank you in advance for your opinion,
  21. The body makes me think of the mount of archaon.
  22. Pretty sure thoses guys are the new stormcast band for shadespire .
  23. Hey, i know we're in AoS section, but i think the big big thing is plastic sisters of battle confirmed for 2019! Either way i love the shark/eel cavalry and the Guy on giant seahorse. Really Amazing!
  24. I put my money on female ogors. Should be hilarious and instabuy.
