  1. I'm still 100% sure TOW will be the right size (aka 28-32mm Heroic scale). On a related note, the TWW III trailer was quite interesting. As other have said, we have pretty High Fantasy looking units for Kislev, and straight-out-of-AOS Blood Warriors for the Khorne-marked Chaos Warriors.... I'm just bothered by the fact there seem to be no big distance between Northern Kislev (aka Troll Country) and the Realm Of Chaos. The Kislevite and her bear just walked through a forest and ended up in front of the very BRASS CITADEL. Did they forgot Norsca and the deadly Chaos Wastes inbetween Kislev and the Chaos rift at the North Pole ??? Which should also kill the girl and mutate the bear at the very least That sight (which was probably just a "vision") with Khorne's shadow at the end was dope though
  2. I'm glad we are getting Vampires just after Warhammer Fest ! That was a strange week, full of unexpected ups and downs... But well, OH BOY AM I HAPPY TO FINALLY SEE AOS 3RD EDITION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rules looks good (with confirmations of Grimdark Live and ListLab leaks), and I'm sure the AOS team did a good job to clarify and upgrade them. What I absolutely LOVE are the fluff snippets ; Return the focus to AOS1 post apocalyptic fluff : the Mortal Realms are still Hellish Wastelands dominated mainly by Chaos (as seen in Warcry and the Slaves to Darkness battletome) ; but Order launches "Dawnbringer" Crusades, so Hope persists 😍 (Also : another mention of Grugni - with Grombrindal, Duardrazhal and Be'lakor - really hints at an eventual Dispossessed / Chamon Duardin release soon-ish !). Meanwhile, ERA OF THE BEAST and Destruction on the rise, it really was their time (really looking forward to the new grimdarky Swamp Gobs if the hints are true ). The new Stormcast Eternals are incredible (... even most of that other hellish wasteland that is 4chan seems to agree). And just like I hopped this new wave looks like a Warrior Chamber reboot with new "Celestant" and "Paladin" types models. I can see how they were referred to as "Knighlty" (instead of "Brets") : in the sense that their armors and weapons are more "realistic" looking (with better proportions, leather straps, etc.), but still their own thing (Art Deco, greco-roman themes, Medieval / Renaissance celestial imagery, etc.). Also, kind of an Adeptus Custodes stance for the Vindictors, love it. In short : BRING IT ON ❤️
  3. You might want to read a few posts above in the thread before snapping like this ? What do you think ? The photos might not really be from the show, but the cast (and the reveal date) can still be legit.... I sincerely hope we got AOS 3rd on Saturday so I may be biased
  4. WHY ARE YOU ALL TALKING ABOUT EISENHORN "LEAKS" ?! 🤣
  5. The Ghal Maraz coin, the absence of AOS novels and the AOS banner on the WarCom website are IMO good enough hints we'll get something Saturday...
  6. The Kurnothi cat, the Troggoth cave creatures, the Ogor Hunter tiger, the FEC bats, now the IDONETH CRAB.... I have to buy those bands just for them all it seems. @Athrawes well spotted for the banners !!! AOS SATURDAY COME ON
  7. Certainly, we "know" we'll eventually get Grungni's "consolidated" Duardins, Malerion's Shadow Aelves, Kurnothi (as Sylvaneth thrid Wave ?), "consolidated" Orruk Warclans / Greenskinsz, and new Stormcasts (with hopefully common Azyrite Humans auxiliary if we do not get anything new for CoS proper). AND Tyrion and the other two Lumineth Temples..... That's still a lot. I'd like to see updates for BoC, Skaven, IDK, Fyreslayer, maybe Ossiarch and Kharadron ....
  8. I watched it too. Can confirm. A credible person (the likes of Whitefang trust me) said this summer would be GREAT. And apparently the SCE are worth the wait... BRING IT ON
  9. Yeah, this. Let's hope we get AOS 3.0 on Saturday and that it'll save the week
  10. Now let's be serious @Whitefang Imagine I like the Hobbit and the color green. Would it be wise for me to tune up Saturday evening on an Internet platform whose name starts with "T" and end with "witch" ?
  11. The Warp and the Realm of Chaos are one and the same thing. Since the beginning and until the end 😈
  12. Like, uh, a ... TWIN TAILED COMET ? .... Is it Azyrite ? Is it Dracothion ? You're like the Oracle Of Hype Btw those dragons really looks like the Stardrakes (notably the ones in the Kragnos Trailer). PS : for those wondering, the "Cave paintings" artwork comes from the Warhammer Instagram page.
  13. Well, yeah. I have to say that IF we "only" get to see the end of the Soulblight range (aka Demi Drake Vampire Lady and Dire Wolves) and Kragnos, I'll be pretty disappointed. Also if we get news about years-ahead TOW and nothing for AOS 3.... Getting Idoneth for WHU is also a probable option, but not much to add to that "AOS" sum.. (also if we don't get any news for WHQuest or Wacry....). BUT we are in May, at big event Warhammer Quest, with tons of rumors and leaks and a AOSified Ghal Maraz collectible coin, so I still have hope ! If it isn't shown Monday, it will be Saturday
  14. If at the 8th May Preview we get to see at least half that for AOS 3 I will beyond happy ! KNIGHTLY STORMCAST vs WOLF RIDDING HOBGOBLIN Yeah
  15. Sounds heretical to me (aka wrong). Doesn't fit current rumors, new Lumineth (who got a WHU band and two AOS waves) are out of the question, Whitefang said many times Goblings wouldn't come alone, Zombies are already in Cursed City and in the new Soulblight range, shadow elves so close after Daughters (who got a new AOS tome, spells, heroes, a great range, WHU and Warcry Warbands) is very unlikely, "empire" hero is lol and Sigmar Soul Hunter are just the Sacrosant Chamber.... SO Also DOES NOT FIT existing rumor engines
  16. Well, I thought the "impossible" was the Sigmarabulum "space forge" in Azyr, but it was a Silver Tower, aka a "space fortress". Equally great !
  17. As others have said, the book has a great pace to it. It's maybe my favorite from the series so far, and I was pleasantly surprised by both Morathi and Teclis. I'm glad he have confirmation it was Be'lakor ('s own agents) who freed Ven Brecht, and that his goal was indeed to target the Stormcast "Eternals" (as teased in the Eshin short story). Interesting tidbits : Shadow daemons can work with him too (before they were only associated with Morathi and then Malerion). I'm glad, regarding MAPS, that we got several updated : we now know where Vindicarum is in Chamon, where the Genesis gate might me in Ghyran, as well as where Dolorum is (so close to Neferatia, maybe a bit strange...)
  18. I really like all the "Revenant" side of the Sylvaneth range, and this pipe guy is no exception ! We may still get a (fifth) BR : Alarielle after all ! Excited to get a whole week of reveals, but I sincerely-sincerely hope the 8th is ALSO for AOS, and about the new edition, that is. I guess we'll be able to get more infos with what we first get on the 3rd... (guessing, as others : Kragnos model reveal and full Soulblight range). Interested to see if we get something for WARCRY (or something else than a blackout for Cursed City, which should be renamed WHQ : Blackout Fortress)... Maybe those kind of 8th could alternatively be the new starter for Horus Heresy or Battlefleet Gothic, or something Old World..... BUT I wouldn't like it so soon before a new edition of AOS. Let the game gain even more identity before going all-in with TOW (even if I'm looking forward to it too).
  19. I 100% agree. Orruks and (Hob)Grot belongs together under Grodrakk in some sort of Great Waaagh! / Warclan battletome... (Why not with some Troggoth and Gargants and funny Warmachines / ferocious beast chariot) ?! Then, if we get such an update in AOS, I fear we won't see many non-Ironjawz or non-Bonesplitterz Orruks, because of the Beast Snaggas line coming for 40k (I hope I am wrong though). And as "someone else" said in the thread... Time to rewatch the Hobbit -- BTW I think next Monday for the last Broken Realms models Preview, we'll see Kragnos. If he is really meant to be the last book with an epic showdown around Excelsis, then it's only logical to end the preview series with him. OR I could see Grombrindal coming (because of the Duardrazal fluff, the Be'lakor story end, and the White Dwarf short stories) instead. But that would mean another Broken Realms book (OR he is in BR : Kragnos too... that would be a bit heavy in big names). I guess we'll get new Duardin in the new edition relatively soon, just after Soulblight (or SCE / Destruction if they come in between this summer).
  20. Yeah it was posted here when it was released I didn't knew those guys before, but they seem very confident in their last two videos about AOS3, and IIRC Rob the honest wargamer reacted favorably to them, so ...
  21. So Broken Realms : Kragnos. Battles in Ghur around Excelsis : - Knight Excelsior with Order Of Azyr troops and the Ven Denst family (in the Age of Myth, a Shysh-born Noble House, to be precise) - At LAST the artworks of Excelsis will be published ? - Hedonites Of Slaanesh with Sigvald, Glutos and the Twin Newborn (gorgeous model, I love the one with the Peacock robe - the Butterfly one is cool too but look like the orignal Keeper too much IMO). - Seraphon intervenes with Kroak - Gordrakk and Skargrott lead a Waaagh ! So Kragnos...... Where does that bestial (was said to belong to Destruction) yet cultured (jewels) dude is meant to fit ???
  22. Well I was talking about AOS releases, not counting 40k and games like Direchasm, but you are right. So, AdMech, Orcs, Sisters, Soulblight Gravelords + Broken Realms (at least two books I guess) + other games releases (those could be delayed ?).... Heavy schedule (restarting in May) to be ready to launch the (rumored) new Core Book and Big Box at the end of June ... more so with new facilities being made operational, world virus, trade problems with UE and China, snow storm, Suez Canal, etc. BUT I WANT TO BELIEVE (And I hope we'll see the White Bearded Dwarf or that Kurnothi/BOC guy in tonight's article)
  23. But the destruction of the Silver Towers just add disturbances to the gate network / to the Astromatrix already under pressure from the Necroquake and Chaos / Be'lakor own ritual ? IIRC, the "cursed skies" effect is because Be'lakor made some Chaos ritual on top of the towers' destruction ?
