  1. Use the App. Enter keywords like Knight or Archer. If you found a unit you like look at the Keywords at the bottom. There you find the units faction. On scrollbuilder, every model is part of one of the 4 big factions (ORDER, DEATH, DESTRUCTION, CHAOS) and a smaller faction, which you find in the drop down menu under "add units".
  2. Download the official warhammer age of Sigmar app. There you find the most recent warscrolls for almost every unit. For dwarven warriors: Elven archers are high born archers, skeletons are skeleton warriors, the ones on horses are called black knights. For knights you can either use the bretonnian knights or the Knights of Order. Point costs are avaible at www.scrollbuilder.com But keep im mind, most of the units you are using are not really part of the main game anymore. They are completly fine for narrative play or games with friends but they will handicap you If you want to play competitivly.
  3. Yeah, the 4Chan rumors are ******, but I would have liked to see a eight-legged horse mount! The speed of four additional legs would fit the aelfs!
  4. There is the cover artwork, the one Barak-Nar versus some Gloomspite Gits, two Gunhaulers versus some tentacles, portraits for all the heroes, a new piece featuring the new Endrinmaster, six portraits showing one duardin from each Skyport, plus a lot of small pieces between paragraphs.
  5. This! ^^^ I would have like to keep the extra attack in the Ironsky squadron but they are all more useful now. They reduce the number of drops and the additional artefact is more useful now with all the new stuff.
  6. I think this release will be similar in size to the Idonteh Deepkin and the Ossiarch Bonereapers. So 2-3 infantry kits, 1 (heavy) cavalry unit, 3-4 heroes, a centerpiece, a monster and maybe an artillery piece. Endless Spells and Terrain seem likely for a new faction. GW can get creative here. My personal opinion in regards to their main infantry unit. I think a combo unit (bows and spears, ala Sea Guard), seems like a good way of getting a unique unit. I think GW would try to avoid the rather generic archers and spears.

  9. 1. He is on the battlefield even when he is in a garrison. 2. I dont think so. "Disengage" states they can shoot after retreating, but nothing about running.
  10. Yes! 20 Arkanauts buffed by the new Khemist generate 16,5 wounds in the shooting phase against Save - units (9,5 against 4+ save). Not counting aether-gold re-rolls, the attacks from the Khemist or close combat. Thats a nice 270 points block, ideal for holding objectives against flanking units.
  11. Similar to Cities of Sigmar, for every 3 Kharadron Overlord units you can take a DUARDIN unit.

  13. Not directed at you, but still Important to note, there are three additonal Triumphs in the matched play section of the current Generals Handbook (1. Use a CA for free, 2. Re-roll charge or run rolls, 3. Re-roll save rolls)

  15. Its good. You get a very useful hero, who makes the 2 units of ballon duardin Battleline, plus a now improved Gunhauler.
  16. I doubt this very much. Hysh Aelfs wont be just a upgrade of the old high aelf kits. This will be a completly new faction. They will most likely take a lot of inspiration from the world-that-was but they wont be a 1:1 translation of old units. That would be contrary to everything GW has done in AoS so far.
  17. Both options have roughly the same average shooting output against 4+ or better armoured targets while 30 Arkanauts cause roughly 1 additional wound against 5+ or worse. The Khemist has the advantage that he can use command abilities on the Arkanauts when they have spent their gold plus the attack debuff against attacking enemy units.
  18. Great Endrinworks are in addition to your normal artefact.
  19. I played around with Statshammer for a bit. This is 1 Khemist plus 20 Arkanauts (with 2 Hooks, 2 Pikes, 2 Volley guns) sitting on an objective and shooting at something 9" away. I think this is a pretty useful combo for securing an backfield objective. This should be enough to keep deep striking units at bay and with only 270 points cheap enoug to let them just stand there.

  21. Im happy to see the crescent moon symbol. I always thought that its a great and pretty unique way to mark magic users (Mistweaver Saih also has a lot of moon symbols).
  22. D6 shots 2 Damage on the frigats skycannon/flat 6 for Ironclads, 2 Damage on the carbines, stronger in close combat, more mobility, better saves, better protection from infantry with in, etc. List building should be based around our ships now.
