Announcing a new campaign / narrative arc would be awesome!

Just to be clear I don't think core rules changes are necessary or desired (although I can think of a few tweaks I'd appreciate) but it just seems they are hyping it more than I'd expect for announcement of GHB2. But what do I know? Almost literally nothing in this context

I reckon it is going to be bigger than GHB2 - I think it will be a change to the core rules of AOS.

We play the sensibly - you need to be able to see the actual body or it not, a substantial part of the model that makes sense would get hurt or affect the model. Never had an argument about it but i err on the side of caution that you cannot see it

You know what is gonna suck against a blades of khorne army? My planned Gryph-Hound horde army. I mean it would suck against any army but it would be annoying against most of them!

Is anyone taking pure fyreslayers?

Not sure it's been posted but if it hasnt there is a demo by Eddie of Shadespire at Adepticon that looks pretty cool. It's a cross between bloodbowl movement, gorechosen actions, 40k maelstrom objectives and a card game like netrunner. It should either be a great game or a complete mess!

Also I am SO HYPED RIGHT NOW FOR WHATEVER THAT DRAGON THING IS GW have really learned a lesson recently: give all the dudes weird animals and they are 100% cooler (see Kairic Acolytes with a Vulcharc, new Stormcast with their birds and chocobos, gyrinx, roboparrot etc.) Soon it will get to the stage where if a new release doesn't have a weird super cute animal I will be devastated (can't wait for the tyranid version, those gribblies are so cute)

You can take Faeit exactly at face value. It's one guy who collates rumours and he presents them as such. He is not usually a source of rumour himself.

I definitely think Ironjawz and Fyreslayers will get battletomes. I would like to see Flesh Eater Courts, Seraphon and Pestilens get new battletomes but I don't see it happening unless they are subsumed into wider books OR gw decide to release some new models for them. FEC and Pestilens (Death and Skaven) could be essily subsumed into new bools but I can't see how Seraphon would fit into that.

This is awesome! I'm well chuffed as I've just started painting a Khorne bloodbound Slaughterpriest (got round to the white dwarf free mini finally). I was hoping something like this would come out so I can plan the army with a bit of finality since the model range is already awesome. Also gives me hope for a new fyreslayers book at some point (hopefully new models too!)

Hey guys we've seen a rumour engine image that looks like nagash on a board game tile. This could mean that Shadespire is in the underworld and Nagash is involved somehow. Maybe the cthulu aelves are somehow related to death/Nagash and are Death aelves?

Agreed! This was a dangerous amount of reveal. It may well have caused numerous heart attacks amongst the dispossessed community. It should really come with a health warning.

It's been a great year for releases so far

Yup but i didnt think we had any details at all about how soon it would be? Thought it might be a good year off etc. I cant wait to see which gangs are featured and what the modelling team make of the classic gangs: House Van der Saar (pot bellied IT dudes with beards), House Esher (90s tank girls) and Delaque (bald men in trenchcoats). I would be hoping for multipose gangs with loads of weapon options like Genestealer Cult sprues rather than monopose like Bloodbowl. Oh man I hope they support it with lots of supplements over the years. Outlanders were the best!

Aaaaaawerfjfj so excited! Spent the weekend at Warhammer World and there is a new table there that would be just perfect for necromunda! That may lend some credence to a Necromunda release being on the cards
