Warcry is on a 2 week preorder. I don’t think they usually have anything on that in between week.

To me, the music sounded Eastern, and the accent like a traditional vampire, so who knows.

But they wouldn’t have filled that design space with anything else. This isn’t a battletome that was going to get new units. Stormcast are in the free cities in the fluff, so they can fill a role in a way that makes sense, that wouldn’t have been filled otherwise.

Considering it’s just a mish-mash of existing units, they aren’t really taking up any design space. They’d either be there or they wouldn’t, it’s not like there’d be a new free cities unit to replace them. Just don’t take them.

Preordered mine, along with the Cypher Lords (and the ruler). Can’t wait! Been really looking forward to this since it was first announced.

I don’t know why not allowing comments on their YouTube videos is them being ‘in the dark ages’ anyway. Have you seen YouTube comments sections? I’d argue it’s sensible...

Wasn’t what they meant, they were just saying that the Warcry models would have used some of the resources to make AoS models.

We’ve seen him in the video of the iron golems when they were shown. There’s no duplicate sprues, just a couple of minor weapon swap options.

Yeah they have a touch less in the way of customisation out the box than I was maybe expecting. Honestly personally, I really don’t mind - I’ve got 4 Necromunda gangs I haven’t touched yet because the sheer weight of options gives me like choice paralysis. I’m more likely to build these up straight away rather than let them sit forever.

Just because they aren’t previewed doesn’t mean they won’t be released. If there’s no warhammer event near enough to a release to preview it, it’ll still get released. We’ve still got about half the year left, plenty of time for 4 battletomes considering we’ve had more than that in the first half of the year.

Seems to come with a different playmat, but it’s the same apart from that.

If you expected a kill team expansion price, you were being seriously unrealistic. (Using the same royal you as you did here, I don’t mean you personally).

Underworlds are less models and pushfit with no options. These are bigger units, with at least a few options. They’re closer to Necromunda gangs (which are £25 compared to the warbands £30) but necromunda gangs are 1 repeated sprue and don’t come with any cards.

The starter is if anything less than I expected, with everything you get in it and recent price increases.

£25 for the separate book, £30 for the Warbands, £5 for the other faction decks. £100 is great for the starter. About what I was hoping, but was maybe expecting a bit more.

There’s still 3 weeks before it comes out, there’s still plenty of time for them to tell us more about the rules.
