Maybe its being greedy but an minor upgrade sprue would have done these wonders. Just a few different heads, etc, nothing crazy. Cool to see the theme coming back though.

Askurgan trueblades warscroll is up! Yes please to this!! Its a little bit complicated of a warscroll but I like it. Im assuming the khorne-dogs 🤭 is as well.

Good question. i read the warscroll as optional... At most you'll only need the 3 then, totaling 78 attacks. Heh. Is it worth it? Idk but 20" missle threat is nice in an otherwise mostly melee/magic army.

I do wish there were more universal rules. For example, any model with a shield gets a 6+ save THEN to show quality of said shields some could have it for mortals and wounds.

@Gitzdee I can't tell you from experience but shootas definitely got a glow up! Take 40, 1 netter (all you need for -1 to hit now), and you've got 80 attacks at 20" range! You can be real nasty and give them -1rend from the gobbapalooza spiker as well. Looks fun to me.

@madmac Kruleboyz are a new army from 3rd. They happen to just have been souped.

Rather have new units and hero models anyways.

As far as poison goes and pertaing to kruleboyz im an advocate of reworking their mechanic to mortal on a 6 wound roll instead. Thematically it makes more sense as is damage from poison and not the skill of the warrior. However, yes, too many mortals on the dance floor.

🤔 Sounds grotish... my bets on a full unit like the loonkings court. (Prefer a destro band in this order) Kruleboyz Ironjawz Ardboyz but in a new aesthetic like kruliez. Gitmob Gloomiez Ogors I guess if you want to throw Bonesplitterz or some out of nowhere surpise like fimir then have at it geedubs. Edit: just saw a fuzzy pic of icons. Grozziks gouge looks like a kruleboyz shield!...😶🤪🤘🥳🤘

Theres a new icon on the map, Grozziks gouge. Sounds like a destro warband hint to me. 🤞

@Warboss Gorbolg I just cant do them. Toyed with the idea of customizing them to my liking even but just can't. I like what they tried to convey with their design but its just too comical for me. Im also a sucker for anatomy and they're just a little too off. Rockguts have a similar comical design but it's done very well. Its all subjective. Kruleboyz troggs ruined me. Heh. To see trogg design given more realism and expect to go back... just cant. I'm definitely leaning into the vargskyr desin.

No one said it was BUT its realm of focus has been Ghur where if Im not mistaken is where destro has its roots. Second starter faction was a new(ish) destro army. And they also released a new demi-god of destruction... in the form of a... pony. Still dont care for him. Hopeful Gordrakk finds these three artifacts and takes back the position of power. So yeah, its a "destruction" edition. It would be like if they did a focus on Azyr but order didn't recieve too much attention. Waagh, Mr Bond. Waagh. 🤘

@Skreech Verminking Idk how you feel about other lines but those OPR ratmen they've been putting out are pretty nice. They are still rats but have a feel to them that really sets them apart from Geedubs all while still maintaining it if that makes any sense.

Alright my little green maniac generals, I've got an idea for some custom fellwaters as the new rules are just too killer to pass up. Ive narrowed it down to two kits for a base. I want to stay in the geedubs line so no suggestions outside that. ive already got a unit i ordered from etsy. Amazing designs but not legal. Whats your opinion on these two mock ups? The first idea uses FEC crypt horrors. I like this one just fine BUT just a teensy weensy too small. However they do come in a three pack already, they have three or more poses, and it would be minimal sculpting. The second idea uses the SBGL vargskyr kit. I like this one too! It is however only a single model, more expensive to gather a full unit, single pose but not that difficult to play with as far as repositioning the arms, legs, etc. Also more rockgut size so bonus to intimidation factor. Again these are just mock ups so far. And can I get a moment of silence for a sloggoth I hacked up to try out and realized it would be way too much custom sculpting. ☠😔 Hoping to pick your shroom addled brains on this.

So i do want to bring some fellwater allies but as Ive stated im not a fan of the current models at all. So with staying in the Geedubs model range as to be legal (😒) I've come up with this. Its a mock up using FEC horrors. I actually really like it and will be going through with the project. I think this design fits in much better with the kruleboyz aesthetic. Just a mock up but whatcha think?

@Skreech Verminking Its all subjective. when they were released they were great. 😜 There are aspects of the model i like but its definitely a very comical sculpt when compared to some newer models and imo has not aged well at all.

@Gitzdee Pretty shnazzy! Maybe do a second coat with the texture before moss, etc. Once you start adding flock it'll start to really pop.

This is why I'm an advocate of moving mortals on 6s from on hit to on wound. Thematically it makes more sense anyways. The mortals are from poison damage and not the skill of the warrior. And since this lowers the overall mortals caused give them -1rend to compensate. suddenly the sloggoth is also more useful as well.
