The Rumour Thread
Snorri Nelriksson replied to The Jabber Tzeentch's topic in Age of Sigmar Discussions
In old lore of whfb and 40k undivided princes were a thing, iirc they impressed the divine powers enough to get elevated while not choosing a patron...then they retconned that and now seems we have come back full circle finally. IIRC was mostly pushed by some BL authors (A.D.B irc?) that evolved chaos in these years(in HH series for example). And tbh i prefer like that...Chaos does'nt need such *orderly* rules. -

Considering the whole "Still recovering from delays\pandemic problems\bBexit and such" maybe they got the release order cramped....2 tomes probably will have only the hero(and MAYBE a unit). 40k iirc got some releases back to back. -

What if order battletome in fall is Seraphon or cities? -

Nope.... @Black_Templar_LadHashut warband could be just a tasty preview of a full new battletome for the future....the warcry warbands are just random groups that battles in the eightpoints and some chaos dwarves swore fealty to the Everchosen. Still they could (and imho WILL) have their own army. -

Barak Votann, Kharadron engineering let loose
Snorri Nelriksson replied to zilberfrid's topic in Age of Sigmar Discussions
They had the "age of isolation" (during the age of Strife) where they evolved into squats because their colonies were separated by warp storms(and so they were left out unable to communicate with others)...though this wording seems to imply they got another period of isolation "till now". -

If aos reveals will be just Sylvaneth it will be disappointing. I hope skaven and something other like a teaser for the future. I hope that a whole day for Aos means more announcements. -

Going by the banners: IF(HH);something for kill teams that seems chaos(8 pronged skull),sylvaneth, squats, chaos (warcry),Skaven, probably the imperial guard kill team rumored with new kaserkin,Sons of Horus (HH),Chaos space marines,Sylvaneth and squats again. I don't get why Sylvaneth and Squats got 2 banners....but i hope we'll see many things for both (and aos as a whole). -
What kind of Box would u like?
Snorri Nelriksson replied to Gitzdee's topic in Age of Sigmar Discussions
Chorfs vs Kharadrons or "Grungni's new dwarves. But tbh i'd love just to see that the VS boxes will contain some new units for each army... -

What? How we know he could have done some work on new squats? There's already some BL novels announced for the leagues? -
Barak Votann, Kharadron engineering let loose
Snorri Nelriksson replied to zilberfrid's topic in Age of Sigmar Discussions
@Kaleb Daarki just hope they'll be enouggh different from Space marines and Mech playstyle-wise. I could see also GW putting in some vehicles and making them a more flexible and fast army. -
18 codex of marines would be a nightmare....i hope they'll stick more with the former grouping.

Barak Votann, Kharadron engineering let loose
Snorri Nelriksson replied to zilberfrid's topic in Age of Sigmar Discussions
After reading this i would say the opposite. Men of Iron AI's seems on another level from these Votanns, they destroyed humanity with superweapons and are seemed a superior type of AI (or so it said), so unless they'll change Men of iron lore i don't think they'll be here. Also maybe the rumormonger mistaken the whole "Votanns are AI's" for "they have AI so they have men of iron". -

New article about the Leagues: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2022/04/22/the-leagues-of-votann-are-coming-but-what-actually-is-a-votann/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=warhammer-40,000&utm_content=blpregallery230422&fbclid=IwAR1OrbznV7DNBzwYYL84cCslZvQcaincNpL4iRgwjZwy7pNIIX4TCmTRHrA So the Votann are huge cogitators\computers bordering AI status that contains every single informations from the past(some even containing whole STC's)...i like this approach to the whole "ancestor's cult" idea that dwarves always had(at least GW dwarves). -

Highly dose of Cope but what if....Grotbag skypirates? -
Consider what Morghur has become is highly unlikely,i could see them doubling down on his mutagenic abilities warping humanoids into beastmen and chaos spawns. I'd hope he'll become a minor power of chaos in his own right heralding a new balance in the GA(minor god like Hashut,Zuvassin and so on). Technically the winds were and are always "chaotic in nature" so i really doubt they'll change that(like warp in the 40K)...also it would undermine what beastman always were(true children of chaos).

To be honest,my post did'nt mentioned classic dwarves because with the Old World they'll be back. Still an Aos take on the classic dwarves with Grungni comeback definitely would be welcomed and loved(as would be chaos dwarves). -

After decades of waiting the Squats we're prepared for the last bastion of Dwarfdom to be brought back. Hoping still with tall Hats and bovine features. -

Tbh introducing the eggs idea could not even change what broodmothers are (like bee and ants). I can see the other point though...and also gw quietly putting away that stuff as most "hardcore" reference in the game (like they did with beastmen and Fimir) but tbh i'd prefer having still "female skaven" in a new different way and not Broodmothers(but still with sexism socially speaking )than suddenly saying that rats can produce eggs XD. -

It fits very well Skaven as they embodies the worst sides of civilization/urbanizations/society. Also it appeared already in some aos novels so i really doubt they'll retcon it. -

It would be nice if those are a Moulder experiment with the fabric of the realm (Ulgu) like some sort of skaven that could become shadow or "ghosts" when needed. Maybe a joint effort between them and Eshin(like the previous Moulder\Skryre Stormfiends). -

Hoping for some dog-faced Khorngors. TBH pretty excited to see some Malerion disciples (while i don't care much about elven armies i can see some interesting new takes on the Dark elves "descendants"). Let's see...
