  1. I keep forgetting that GW separates characters in small units like Underworlds warband... 6 new kits to be revealed for a total of 13, that would already be huge !
  2. I think it's a relevant reference... Very similar in idea to the sort of steam tank-platform seen in Hammer & Bolter episode and it's still a Hussite inspiration, like infantry we now know: I believe in it !
  3. You forgot to remove the shadow warriors That's even 7 new kits to discover ! Here are my predictions : Reliquary / War Altar (confirmed by 3D render, some clue with "feretory" name according to WarCom article) Artillery (confirmed by Whitefang and today's WarCom article) Elite infantry (strongly suggested by two-hand axe in 3D renders) Callis & Toll (confirmation with positive reaction by Whitefang ?) Warrior-priest (new model or Silver Tower reuse ?) Shooting platform / War chariot (Whitefang's recommendation to watch Darkoath's episode in Hammer & Bolter serie ?) Light cavalry (I'm running out of clues...) Anyway, what a time to be fan of Warhammer's medieval and baroque imagery ! 😍😍
  4. Wait a second... that means flagellants are staying ?!
  5. It's in the article of not warhammer 40k online preview with army set and Tahlia Vedra reveals :
  6. If I remember correctly, Whitefang recently liked a post which said that there was no longer any point in GW leaving wanderers/phoenix Temple while Sylvaneth/Lumineth exists in parallel... Same as above. It's older, but our Great Oracle reacted positively to the fact that there might be something for Order of Azyr and that warrior-priests were oop. We should create a wiki of Whitefang's reactions so that we can find our way around. 😋 I have almost the same list. I just think that flagellants and general/battlemage on griffon might stay (that would mean 3 less kits for new COS). I suppose you count endless spells/faction terrain in there? Personally, I prefer to count only minis. Not all armies have had the same treatment on this point (this means "only" 10 kits for gloomspite on early 2019 wave).
  7. Although these fusiliers are a wonderful addition (I wasn't expecting much from them, but in the end I think they're even better than the steelhelms !), I think the final number of new kits will be a bit disappointing, from my point of view. With such an early announcement last year and the emphasis on a big refresh, I was expecting at least 11/12 new kits (like LOV or Astra Militarum last year). But if all that's left is the altar/reliquary and the cannon teased by @Whitefang, in the end there will be 'only' 9 kits. To follow on from this, AoS Facebook CM wrote this yesterday : I'm still hoping for 2/3 more (including elite infantry) but I'm pessimistic about that (which doesn't detract from the quality of new minis !). For duardins, I think we'll have a new mini with the cannon.
  8. I'm not familiar enough with the subtleties of English language, but do you think there is an allusion to artillery and/or a firing unit in the use of the term "cracking" ? I also bet that's what we'll get tomorrow (at least something that attacks from a distance).
  9. The point that goes through the arm seems too "round" and doesn't really look like a bone, but the shape of the arm is very similar... Looks like you've found a very interesting piece !
  10. Rumour engine today : A serious contender for the title of weirdest rumour engine !
  11. I'd have to agree with that, but overall I think it fits in quite well with the new aesthetic. I find, for example, that one of the freeguild cavaliers' alternative set-ups matches Karl Franz curiously well...
  12. Good catch ! I don't have Underworlds reflex, as I haven't played AoS yet. On the other hand, as far as the flagellants are concerned, I'm wondering more and more whether we're going to have a new version for them... Maybe GW have simply decided to scrap the concept because it's too WHB-ish. Otherwise I really hope there will be an elite infantry unit. That's my last wish for this COS release. After your corrections, I see the new warscrolls as follows : Official : Tahlia Vedra Alchemite warforger Freeguild marshall & relic envoy Freeguild steelhelm Freeguild cavaliers Fusil major on ogor warhulk Pretty safe : War altar ("feretory" according to Saturday's article ?) (big ?) Canon Handgunners (with bulwarks ?) Still a mystery : ? (warrior-priest ?) ? (elite infantry ?) ? ? Humans : Hexbane Hexbane hunters Galen Ven Denst Doralia Ven Denst Flagellants (still a doubt) Battlemage Battlemage on griffon Freeguild general on griffon Luminark of Hysh Luminark with white mage Celestial Hurricanum Celestial Hurricanum with celestial mage Steamtank Steam tank with commander Duardins : Warden king Runelord Cogsmith Longbeards Hammerers Irondrakes (confirmed) Ironbreakers Gyrocopters Gyrobombers Aelves : Dreadlord on black dragon Sorceress on black dragon Sorceress Assassin Black ark fleetmaster Black ark corsairs Black guard Executionners Bleakswords Dreadspears Darkshards Scourgerunners chariots Drakespawn chariots Drakespawn knights Dark riders Kharibdyss War hydra Shadow warriors (still a doubt) This would give us 54 warscrolls.
  13. By Sigmar ! Let the reconquest of the Mortal Realms begin !!!
  14. Mechanical stuff... is it Ironweld resurgence ?
  15. More like the sort of steam-tanks that serve as firing posts for guild-free-guild gunners ?
  16. The next Underworld warband will be from the chaos alliance... maybe those Skaven things ?
  17. I couldn't agree more. I know these short stories are just introductions to the new Dawnbringers heroes, but that's exactly why I found this story uninspired, unlike the first one. I hope that Dawnbringers' crusades will give them opportunity to be a bit more optimistic and renew themselves !
  18. I've wanted it so much since they announced Cities... The near future of my whole hobby is concentrated in the release of this box 😅. I still think it'll be out in September, shortly after the Nova Open reveals.
  19. Thanks for talking about it here ! Sometimes I wish I was a fly in GW's design studio... They work so far in advance of the releases that we know about. The creative process, why one choice of mini/sculpt was chosen over another, managing the release schedule, and so on. I'm sure that if GW ever decided to make a behind-the-scenes documentary about design studio, it would be a huge success ! Even though I know it's a pipe dream and will probably never happen (although it could be about stuff released a long time ago like that, no secrets issue).
  20. I'm afraid it'll just be another solo character, as part of Dawnbringers or not, rather than a new unit...
  21. Could this fusil soldier be the version shown in the video ?
  22. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/04/30/the-courageous-cities-of-sigmar-cavaliers-charge-forth-to-reclaim-the-realms/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=warhammer-fest-2023&utm_content=citiesknightsreveal30042023&fbclid=IwAR0llDWxSV_6qfJkt1q4oTz6pBYwguANBUNwIwDJnp-Yu1OQFNSxua5X3x0 You can see her better in the slideshow .
  23. There is also a female rider in the freeguilds cavaliers (second from left) :
