  1. Yeah, read the Dark Harvest. Followers of Kurnoth kill followers of Alarielle on sight, and vica versa.
  2. To be honest, from what I read here on this forum, I am the odd one for wanting a separate standalone Kurnothi faction. You desire to see them merged into one, even if it makes no lore sense whatsoever after you read Dark Harvest, seem far more universal here.
  3. For the record, in Dark Harvest, Kurnoth and his followers hate Alarielle. They should be their own faction.
  4. Because Kurnoth was caged, flayed alive and his heart stolen by Alarielle for the sole reason of Kurnoth being far too savage and primal. I have no interest in seeing timid Kurnoth who obeys the whims of Alarielle. I wish to see a primordial force of red tooth and claw. Besides Dark Harvest book, I strongly recommend Orion trilogy. Kurnoth was never nice, he is a force of nature, violent and majestic as the storm, volcano, hurricane or tsunami. In the avatar of Orion, he killed and ate the hearts of Wood Elves who joined his Wild Hunt.
  5. I read Dark Harvest and I adore it. I also think, precisely because of Dark Harvest, that Kurnothi can not be properly explored if they are a expansion to Sylvaneth. Yeah, Kurnothi do seem to pop up here and there but that is hardly a guarantee that they will eventually get their own faction. For the record, of all possible armies to come, I am hoping for Kurnothi the most. But I have this gut feeling that they will basically stay like this. Models in smaller games and a few lore mentions here and there.

  7. NEW Broken Realms fiction! https://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/04/01/broken-realms-fiction-the-joust-of-kings/
  8. @PiotrW Actually, regarding Hellraiser series, I would only recommend the book itself, the Hellbound Heart. Plus first two movies, everything else is a shallow mockery of what Cenobites truly are.
  9. Is this true? Any source that Kurnothi are truly coming? A lot of comments of Allarielle in BR: Teclis seems to hint at Kurnoth.
  10. @Enoby@PiotrW Hmm, would that princess now be that leader of the Faultless Blades?
  11. I just have to share this. The last model released by Raging Heroes is just like Glutos, except it is Dionysus and it is all about lust. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZbhWh4w1pQ
  12. @dicebod That Contorted Epitome is sublime in beauty, I adore it. @AngryPanda I will state that I did not look through new Lumineth rules and warscrolls properly. But the tournament people who play Lumineth in my local meta are more than pleased. Though to me, some of their units look as if they will never be played outside of casual battles. But what good they got, is really excellent.
  13. @dicebod That is some really beautiful army you have in your cover, could I bother you for a few up close images?
  14. @dicebod Not to play smart, I find the lists created by @Enoby to be really, really good. So I stole this list. I have to say that our elite infantry, Twins and Pains, need to come down in cost.
  15. @Enoby Beautiful models as always. @AngryPanda I am continuing to play, testing various lists. Run a Lurid Haze list with Nobles of Excess against OBR player. I lost, but it was really close and the guy has won major tournaments across Europe, so I think that will some small changes, we could be top tier. Overall, I think that Hedonites are going to be a army that it takes skill and finesse to play properly. Personally, this delights me. In my humble opinion, the only change needed is on Slaangors, Myrmidesh and Symbaresh. Myrmidesh and Symbaresh need to come down in cost a bit and they will be perfect. Slaangors need to be reworked though.
  16. By the way, I have a recommendation for all fellow Hedonites here, watch the Hannibal series. A most delightful exploration of sophisticated Slaaneshi worship and philosophy.
  17. @Loyal Son of Khemri Nurgle is, first and foremost, a god of life. A god of endless rebirth.
  18. What? Chaos has successfully conquered all Realms during the Age of Chaos save Azyr and it took coming of Stormcast Eternals to push the tide of Chaos back. https://ageofsigmar.lexicanum.com/wiki/Age_of_Chaos Chaos actually succeeds in its goals. Archaon actually gets things done. He destroyed the World-That-Was. All praises be to The Ruinous Powers!
  19. Because setting up Nagash and Grand Alliance Death as something incredibly powerful, only to never actually win anything, is a bit sad. What have they truly accomplished? Gained a bit of land in Eightpoints. A most marvelous victory. Also, the idea behind Death is that they are semi-unified in Nagash, who dreams of creating Realms of eternal silence and stillness, a undead utopia. Which all Chaos Gods fear and despise above all else.
  20. I will use of of my very first posts on this forum, for this topic is very interesting. I have been in WHFB/40K for almost 18 years. Chaos player first and foremost. Managed to gather pretty much every Chaos lore book out there. It is very clear that Slaanesh has never been GW favorite god, so to speak. Nurgle and Tzeentch have a coherent philosophy and I would even use word theology for them. Khorne is relatively straightforward. Of all Chaos gods, Slaanesh is the only one of infinite possibilities, which is quite paradoxical given how Slaanesh has been treated in WHFB/40K/AOS. That is to say, Slaanesh has been the neglected one since day one. Over the years, I read and saw explorations of Slaanesh by various fans and while most were below average, some were excellent. That is the thing with Slaanesh, a good dosage of creativity is required to truly make Slaanesh shine. I did not pull that perfume/fragrance idea out of nothing. Years ago, I read a blog where one woman was writing a incredible lore for existing but also completely new daemons and mortals, with accompanying artwork for each hero, unit and monster. In her own words, she took a concept, in this case, the olfactory sense, and explored it in context of Slaanesh. I curse myself for not saving her lore and art, for she deleted he r blog and I was never able to find it again. But to give a example that all of you can read right now. A Slaaneshi Kurnoth: http://hgpowell.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-woods-of-bloody-thorns-slaaneshs.html Slaanesh is a deity of everything, for everything can be taken to excess.
  21. @Feii They are not going to rewrite the entire battletome for years to come. We all know this. The best we can do is petition for cost and/or stats change on some units. I said my piece, our melee infantry needs to be better. If we achieve that, I guarantee to every one of you that we will rise to top tier armies.
  22. In my opinion, Myrmidesh, Symbaresh and Slaangors are the ones that need to be reevaluated and/or buffed up. If our melee infantry above was fixed, I am absolutely happy with the state of Hedonites.
  23. This is what I meant. By the comments of Allarielle and general setup of forces;
