  1. Slowly getting my Nighthaunts painted, with those I'm exactly in the middle of it. The Host are probably the fastest full unit I ever did!
  2. So we are getting a new unit finally! I wonder if everything will be part of a 8 models unit or we will end with something similar the seraphon warband which ended beeing 3 units. Been called monster hunters, I don't expect they do much in the end ruleswise.
  3. They showed a drummer, so the warband should be bigger than shown in the picture
  4. They look pretty similar damage wise (see the graph and table bellow). The regular kroxigors end being favored as they are cheaper, but if you have the points to spare is a matter of how much you value the warpawned natural extra rend vs how frequently you expect to fight units with 10 or more models.
  5. So the warcry symbol + kruleboyz symbol shoul mean Kruleboyz Warcry warband them? Really hope so! An extra unit could really help the army!
  6. With how well received the combat patrol format was, I think this is pretty much given for the next edition. AoS Vanguards have a pretty uniform organization (1 foot hero + 1 battleline + 2 between cavalry/elite/monster/extra battleline) but the points are all over the place. This make much harder to start getting games in AoS, which didn't happen with combat patrol which used to be all around 500 points.
  7. Yeah, I thought it was still printed in a separated book like the first one. Been all digital should make more probable that we see changes where they are needed. Still the changes in that leak are a little to over the top for the GW conservative +/- 10 points changes we usually get.
  8. GHB has been leaked. Those that want the link just ask via PM. Primal magic dice and battle tactics posted earlier are true. Cogs give free mystic shield or arcane bolt +-1 to shooting that target wizards. Geminids stop all commands till next hero phase on a 2+. Burning head became a debuff that damage a unit after it moves.
  9. This rumor comes from 4chan, which make it pretty dubious. The greatest problem with it for me is that the book was finished at least 6 months ago, but somehow it foresaw all the models and factions that are in the top of the meta right now. Considering GW history in this regard, I think it is pretty fake.
  10. I Imagine the warcry starting set is the one leaked with the Nightmare quest, with the soulblight vs stormcast underwolrds warbands. Really hope the give the other warclans some love as well, the book really need all the help it can get. I hope that the new models aren't all tied to a regiment of renow box, otherwise Kruleboyz will not get something new... If it is destruction focused and Gitz around got their model, I imagine at the minimum they will show the mawtribes model them?
  11. Well, maybe the will do the same again and leave Chaos or Death with little representation as one of them will be the opposing faction for the next edition.
  12. This would make 4 for Order, 3 for Destruction, 1 for Death and 2 for Chaos. I imagine the remaining two will probably be something from Death and/or Chaos if they want to keep a somewhat even distribution.
  13. GHB rumor circulating some whatsapp groups: Lore of Primal Frost: Hoarfrost Cutting Air: CV7, Wholly within 18", Add D6+6 extra range to missile weapons or +1 atk to missile weapons. Ice Capsule: CV6, caster cannot move but gain +1save and Ward4+ Primal Blizzard: CV8, 1D6 visible units take 1D3mw each and 1/2 of their movement. Primal Magic: Extra dice in casting, unbinding or dispelling, but 1D3mw and the action fail on a double.
  14. How do you fell about the Slann in those games? I'm trying to get a 1k list to build towards and was wondering if the Slann would pull its weight or if would be better to keep him for larger points games.
  15. Finished my lady of vines and my first Nurgle model! Just in time to use her on a tournament next weekend.
  16. Cool thanks! I was planning to mix those a little, but after seeing how you can make both seers I may end using the standing one as a starpriest. Love when you can make 2 units with a single kit.
  17. The size comparisons make everything looks even cooler! Those pictures are yours? I really curious on how easy you can mix and match the arms for the starseer bodies
  18. Probably not, it has 2 heroes and all the vanguards so far have just one. It looks to be just a group photo for the book.
  19. Most of the Seraphon players hoped for it to be changed for something else before the tome dropped as well, but sadly it didn't happen. I don't think just adjusting points alone would be enough to balance it right now, coalesced mostly has it durability to compensate for its lack of damage (if you compare it with other factions damage). It would need more changes and GW don't like to make a lot of changes outside of new books.
  20. With the way the seraphon saurus and monsteres are priced in points, I doubt. I imagine army wide damage reduction is less problematic when you barely have any healing or model returning in said army.
  21. I imagine it will be something else entirely. The vanguard boxes follow a general pattern of foot hero + general battleline unit + cavalry/elite unit + other battleline/calvary/elite unit. Some boxes don't follow this pattern mostly due to them having older kits that are cheaper compared to more recent ones (tzeentch, ogors). All the vanguards so far also fall into the 120~140 price range if you just sum the individual kits with the GW store values. All that been said, I imagine the Seraphon vanguard will be something similar to Starpriest + Saurus warriors + Aggradons/Kroxigors/Chargers + Bastiladon/Aggradons/Kroxigors/Chargers/Riders. I doubt we gonna seem skinks due to they having the older unit size with extra models by sprue, which is something they avoid with all the vanguards so far.
  22. Got two Chainghasts done this week. Nighthaunt are always fun to paint!
  23. Ops, I got the wrong command! I was thinking about the admiral run and shoot only letting the ship shoot. Thanks for the correction and clarification!
  24. The fulminator confirmation is pretty huge, make Thunderers have much more of a punch while engaged. The unique thing i'm sad about is the disengage still not letting the units inside the boat shoot, but with the current winrate of the book may it is for the best.
  25. Totally agree that we should differentiate between the two while we discuss things, they change a lot how the army play/which units they favor. On the Thunder Lizards part, I expect it to become the faction for lists that don't want to spam warriors/agradons while still playing coalesced. AoS Coach had a nice video talking about coalesced where they show a list like this (will link it bellow). I imagine those kinds of lists would favor using bastiladons, troglodons and carnosaurs, not spamming them, but mixing them with saurus to diversify what they can do. I still think this is probably our lowest hanging fruit, sub-faction wise, do to stegadons being overcosted, but I think it should perform well enough for a 3-2.
