Just because I like attention, here is a pic of that duder I painted but I finished their base.

I did a speed paint test scheme for one of my Gutrippas. Hopefully the drybrushed texture and tufts on the base will make him less of a brown blob lol. But I’m happy with him overall.

I just want the Hawk/scorpion flying monster + a cav unit and I’m sorted. Best army, 10/10.

Ah man. Utterly. Amazing. Seriously, they’ve outdone themselves yet again. Their art team are amazing and really need to earn more than whatever they do currently. Outstanding. Like, those weirdo monsters! So. Freaking. Awesome!

The bow is smaller and the dude looks less impressive, I reckon that’s 1 of the new archers they might be getting as a unit. The guy upfront could potentially be a Celestant equivalent as well. Kruleboyz are interesting, looks like an elite dude at the back with a morning star, and some kind of torturer/jailer or something in front?

So me and my brother got our Dominion today and had enough time to build our armies and have a couple of games before the end of the day. Really fun, I must say. The new Stormcast and Kruleboyz are really satisfying armies to play so far, we had a blast. The damn shiny gits won both games, the first though was because I was really dumb, the second was really close and tense as hell. Really keen for the future of both forces, excited for the reveals tonight!

Guys, it’s unfortunately not a gator. It’s not Hobgrot either, the dude is in the Orruk garb and the beast is covered in the same spiky bits as the Killaboss on Gnashtoof. So it’ll be Orruk but, while I’d love to be wrong, I’m fairly certain it’s not the rumoured gator, it’s certainly a beast of some kind though.

If they’re only doing 2 days of silhouettes I assume they aren’t showing much. I’m not sure that’s a gator, it looks more like a hunched creature to me. It would be pretty small otherwise I think.

The wait is killing me! 😩 But we’re nearly there… just a few more days now… the lack of leaks or rumours has also hurt. Not 1 employee is willing to risk their livelihood for us so we can see some potato pictures of stuff we can barely make out?

I’m willing to bet that the Vanquishers unit are going to be their new ranged unit.

This is gonna be a long 2 weeks… Not really got much on during this time, so I’m mostly just twiddling my thumbs without any other army projects I want to jump into atm. Eager for more info on the army too, about the new Warclans book and further unit releases. Fingers crossed they do the same as Indomitus and show more reveals on the release day. 🤞

Unfortunate for them, as they are hoping for it to be cheaper. I don’t think it’ll even be EZ build.

Unfortunately, all of the easy to build stuff released lately (all the stuff from Indomitus for 40K) has been released at the same cost as full kits.

Question: I know they suck atm without the context of the new Warclans book, but 1 unit of 20 or 2 units of 10 Hobgrots?

Man GW need to get with the times. They need to do points organically and digitally for free. Publishing everything into a money making book is hurting them and their balance. I get that it helps with their growth that their shareholders desperately lust after, but they should be allowing for a more consistent and healthy system for points. Because this book seems very odd and out of time/the loop with current balance. I’m all for blanket point raises, I enjoy smaller games. But there’s some seemingly random changes here. Seriously Sentinals, wtf? These duders going up so little baffles me even with the current points. I’m sure in a few months some of this will be rectified in another publication but man, just update this stuff for free. A better game for a little less cash, you’re making enough as it is lol.

I’m curious, in context to the theory every faction is going to see ~15% point increases, do the new Stormcast/Kruleboyz look okay?

Am I the only one a little worried about the balance between Kruleboyz and Stormcast? I’m fine with armies getting rolled back a bit, that’s great for the game. But compared to the Kruleboyz, the Stormcast look scary. The Hobgrots seem pretty lacklustre as well without any army traits. Much concern 🤔

Does anyone have that old leak of a pic from the book that mentions different types of unit and what size the units are? It was stuff like: Horde: 20 models with 1 wound Elite: 5 models with 2 or more wounds etc I’m having trouble finding it in the thread, would be much appreciated.

I’m not sure he’s bigger, I think it’s a combination of him standing up strait and on some rubble.
