    That is generally correct. There are a few mortal keyword heroes that don't have it, like Archaon and the Gaunt Summoner.

    No, varanguard don't have the eye of the gods keyword, which is required to roll on the table.

    I'm doing a chaos undivided scheme, I have liked that aesthetic forever and have just got into AoS in the last year or so. I'm getting an S2D army assembled so I can play with my friend and then I'll start painting.

    That's awesome! Nice conversion, I like how much Nurgle you packed on it. I am planning to put my warshrine on a thundertusk. I haven't done a conversion before, wish me luck.

    The ability triggers "in your hero phase", not your opponent's.
