  1. I know what they are, but that design choice does not work well at all
  2. I know that they're constructs, but why on earth do the skeletons have NOSES? As far as I can tell, no other unit they showed has them, why would they put them on the infantry?
  3. " With so much awesome stuff on the way for Warhammer 40,000, you might be wondering what’s happening to some of the treasured older models that previously had rules in our Index books. While these might not have a place in our codexes any more, we know that they definitely have a place in your hearts, which is why you’ll be delighted to hear that we’ll be supporting them FOREVER with Warhammer Legends. " "What’s more, in the near future, we’ll be giving all Warhammer Age of Sigmar Legends the same treatment, meaning they too will be getting matched play points for your battles. You’ll see these rolled out in the new year. " Are Tomb Kings a part of Legends? Pretty good news for them if they are.
  4. They look..... interesting Pretty disappointed that those little guys are (presumably) stuck on the Mortarch's base, they look like they'd make pretty neat individual heroes.
  5. I don't think they're going to hide the Mortarch this time, since they already revealed him (assuming that the guy at the end of Part III was actually him). I don't know how often they do releases for both systems at the same time, but a CoS/Warclans double release might be able to happen at the same time as the final (for now) Primaris wave. That'd be at the start of September, Beastgrave could be towards the middle after that, then Bonetithe takes up the first bit of October. Mawtribes will likely be another small release, coinciding with a possible vs box at the end of the Bonetithe releases (solely based on the dialogue from the Tyrant teaser) similar to what happened with GG and Sylvaneth, just on a shorter time scale. Otherwise they're just quick, one week drop. Warcry gets their new warbands a bit after that (I'm assuming the starter bands are going to stay exclusive for a while yet), then SoB and the Psychic Awakening release in November, with the final Chaos book sneaking its way in somewhere. I don't think that Underworlds will get anything new this year except Beastgrave, stuff like the ogre release might not even happen this year (we were only promised "at least" one book per alliance by the end of 2019, and Warclans would fill the Destruction quota), as you said, this one's gonna be packed. Maybe Ogres and the last Chaos book are a dual release, IDK. I'm really not sure how GW would be able to fit all this into 3 months, IIRC, they don't really do any big releases in December.
  6. I don't remember what it was like last NOVA, how soon after are we talking?
  7. They've never done it like that, and they never will. The live-blog is updated real time to coincide with what's being shown to the attendees, if it were all revealed at once there, then the people actually attending the event would have no reason to be around for the reveals.
  8. -Tomb Taxers -The Tithe Takers -IRS (Inter-realm Revenue Skeletons) -PBC (Private Bone Collection) -H&R Bones -Al Cabone's Boys -The Black Pyramid Scheme
  9. Nagash is a senile old ******, he could end up with one of his aspects becoming more prominent and leading parts of his own forces against himself. Ignoring the joke, there's plenty of conflict within Death, lots of lesser servants vie against one another in schemes Nagash doesn't care/isn't aware about, it's just that none of them are really against him (directly). You won't catch any orcs trying to cop a jab on Gorkamorka, and none of the Stormcast are going to try to throw hands with Sigmar. I'd like an anti-Nagash Death faction, but I don't think it's as narratively necessary as people make it out to be. For a topic a bit more on-topic, what kind of roster can we expect for the Tithe army? DoK got one animated trailer and around half-a-dozen units, I don't even remember what the build up to GG was, but they got a fuckload of stuff, the Skeleton IRS has had 3 trailers, can we expect a Nighthaunt/GG level of units?
  10. That's strange, it's almost like you're implying GW would give any attention to xenos.
  11. As far as I was aware, SoB were "Emperor willing, 2019". Did we get an official release date for them? At this point I could see them being a 2020 release, easy. Same goes for the Psychic Awakening, that might not be coming this year; Space Marines might be the last big 40k release for 2019. Whatever ogres get will likely be released alongside the first wave of the Tithe, CoS/Warclans are almost guaranteed to be a 1 week dual release, and if I'm remembering right, paint bundles and battleforces release at the same time, yeah? Even if only one of the big 40k things happens, an extra 3 weeks of breathing room would still clear up a lot of the schedule.
  12. Does anyone have experience magnetizing the arms on Frostlords/huskarls? I've got the rest of the monster done, but I have no idea how to approach the actual ogre.
  13. That might have been a problem if AoS had an aesthetic of its own. It could use a bit more "Old World" in some of its design philosophies.
  14. That's word-for-word the 4chan post that got linked a few pages back. And that 4chan post was just everything that people have already been theorizing wrapped up in a nice little package with a 'leak' tag slapped on to get peoples attention. Throw in some disappointing stuff to keep it "realistic", nad you've got an unsubstantiated, uncredited rumor from a site known for making things up that gets spread around for no good reason, and now it's been picked up by someone 'legit', so even more people will believe it. I was in the thread where that was first posted, the guys had everything in the world on what was going on with ogres, just enough to keep people interested with the Death stuff, but you know what he had to say about CoS and Warclans (you know, the ones that are releasing before ogres)? Nothing. When people asked him about what Endless Spells they'd get? Nothing. Tzeentch spells? Nothing. 40k? Nothing. No responses at all, he couldn't even make up an excuse. The stuff he mentioned sounded cool, but we should all be taking it with mountain sized piles of salt.
  15. That new tyrant models is a pretty good confirmation, if you ask me.
  16. I'm assuming it's because GW realized they couldn't support more than 30 different microfactions in any reasonable way. Any one of them could have been expanded into full factions, but that doesn't mean they would have been. If the ogre book is anything like the previous faction merges (and if the rumor posted is true), then BCR will remain as an allegiance you can still take, in addition to having an endless spell. Obviously losing all the resin sucks for the people who bought it, but those models were already on the chopping block. The only real disappointment is the lack of replacements, gorgers and yhetees would have been an easy "multiple units in one kit" thing.
