Consider them dynamic alternate models, and just add aether rifles, pistols and other stuff and you have an easy unit doubler. You can glue handeggs to the backs for a semblance of backpacks. Less interesting after the price hike. I think Blood bowl fits the flavour better than grimderp stuff. It's playing with toy soldiers, it shouldn't pretend to be too serious. Also, the Snotling team isn't even bothered with playing the game, they are just vibing and an awesome flex of the designer's creativity.

No. Gather the Disposessed, Ironweld and Fyreslayers under a deity if you want, but leave Kharadron godless.

I have colourblocked an Ironclad, which I will finish, then I'll build and paint a few minis for my Starfinder 2 group (where the Ironclad will be their mobile base, models both for my players and as enemies).

Partly because of rejuvenation, but don't forget they dumped a lot of warscrolls and kits without replacement. I'm not keeping count anymore, but since I started in 2018 it's at least in the thirties. I don't think that's worth praise.

That's awful. It depends on the survivability of your heroes how useful it is, but points cost doesn't reflect that. So if your army can already survive hero smacking, it's great, if not, its presence reduces your options. At least Morathi is happy with it.

They are mildly different. Just a note, Thundrik's Profiteers fit a Gunhauler with benches perfectly, and make for a cool infiltration team (in my opinion).

It might, but have you seen any non-human Cities model in any of the pictures made for Dawnbringer Crusades? Plenty of Kharadron and humans, but no Disposessed, Ironweld or Cities elves.

I'm not sure what they'll put on the back of the box now. It's not a warscroll, these are hidden away. It's probably not lore either, nor an exact list of contents down to the part, and building instrucion's don't fit, then what?

I hope their 40k cousins warm you up to the perfection that is Kharadron! It's also good to know that the Blood Bowl dwarves could give you a lot of extra heads and a few bodies, though the price hike makes that a lot less appealing.

I was thinking about their space suits and backpacks more than the guns and flying stuff, though the flying stuff is also in squats with the Overlord. But it is just a pet theory without any sources.

My pet theory is that Kharadron were meant to become the new squats, but AoS needed a faction sooner.

The zeppelin was called the Overlord, if you needed more ties between Squats and Kharadron.

Next week, a Kharadron Ironclad already stands in for a crashed Dwarven spaceship, with 40k Orks guarding the spot where the party can find parts to get it going again. I'm not going to start a 40k army, but some stuff (up to a combat patrol box) to kitbash my dwarves into more spacy ones sounds tasty!
