  1. I was under the impression KTG was restricted. With it not being, I’ve put it into my deck. So consistent and allows some passive play against defensive warbands. I am not a huge fan of how it can be restrictive, and relying on a crit happening to cut it down a bit seems risky however. Anyone had game experience with it? Some good points on Warding Stance. Lets talk boards. If I lose boards, I’m inclined to go with Arcane Nexus. The three lethals are spread out, as are the start positions. Seems like it will give a consistent placement regardless of how it’s placed. If I win, the Animus Forge and Penitents Throne are the two I like the look of. Forbidden Chambers 1 could be good too. The other talking point is blessing of Vytrix. It's there for consistency on Apshy and Unmaking. But that assumes i've drawn it, and equipped it prior to needing to cast. These two spells are a 75% chance of casting normally, 87.5% chance once well of power has been equipped. Is Vytrix needed?

Both help with Lithe Spirits - and give a little more consistency to the deck. Playing essentially one ploy shorter isn't a problem because of all the instant glory. I didn't like Keep them Guessing. Great card, but I don't want to feel restricted in my actions. Late game it can sometimes be a very tough draw. I like Masterstroke in it's place for more instant glory. With 3/4 fighters having reactions that can kill, and two ploys that make it happen - it seems to be a solid pick. Finding a way to squeeze Superior Tactician in could be better.
  3. Ahh, missed that bit. It's still terribly worded, and seems like it would generate disputes.
  4. Yes for Stand and Shoot, as that occurs DURING an activation. No for Ready for Action, as that would occur in the power step, and hence not during an activation. But if you did that, you can no longer activate the fighter regularly. So you can Activate, use total offense and attack. Then when your opponent charges the same fighter, you may make an attack action with +2.
  5. Total Offense is a good pick, but I don't like the restrictions on it. Seems like an upgrade that will get ignored often. I'd chosen to ignore both Fired up and Shining Example, mostly because I need to score objectives to get guys inspired, it's a cart before horse scenario - and I didn't like the feeling of it. Taking both guard ploys was a deliberate move. It increases the chances of having one in hand when I draw Change of Tactics, and with the focus on keepng Thundrik alive, Inspired Command will infrequently be a dead draw. Plus, it's always a push ploy on the side. I did think of the movement shenanigans deck, but chose to focus on objectives from attacking, and increasing their reliability (various +dice and reroll power cards), over it.   6. I'm painting the Profiteers for an event this coming weekend, and i'm working on the decklist. One objective i'm torn on, if Keep Chopping. Given the abundance of Range 3 attacks, i'm draw towards it as a reliable objective. But is it as reliable as I think it is? Here's the deck as i've built it so far.   7. Ahh yeah, i'm familiar with it. At the last event I played, I managed to take 8 wounds from Mollog in a single activation with Stikkit. Stikkit was equipped with Mutating Maul, Great Strength and Gloryseeker. I got a scurry charge, giving me double-assists. Scored What Armour? and did 4 wounds. Equip Potion of Rage, use ready for action - suddenly rolling 4 hammers take Mollog out with a grot.
  8. What do you mean by 'missile'? Is this your term for the Scurry-charge? One gobbo charges, two give supports?
  9. Tome of Offerings - because Magore getting 3 glory per kill is pretty awesome.
  10. What are peoples thoughts on Obliterated? Seems very swingy. The score immediately and 2 glory of it is great, but it can be difficult to pull off - and even with the right ploys in hand (hidden paths, pushes, centre of attention etc), there's a chance he will still whiff.

Mostly because I feel that there is many passive objective cards which means I draw the fighting to my side of the board. Plus, I never want to 'waste' an activation on going on guard. I've also swapped catching up for Scragged. I did play catching up for a while, but it can be a dead draw if you go first sometimes. Scragged can be easy to get. A Centre on Attention/Irresistable prize can clump up the gobbos for a 3-4 gobbo scurry charge on the 2nd activation. I was also running the Hex/Withering combo, but recently ditched it - specifically for a couple of the new Mollog Cards. I often found myself stuck with those cards in hand, and no use for them. With all of the push-ploys I run, Shadowed Step seemed a good fit. Hidden pathways has for a while been my most useful ploy, and this is VERY similar. Whether it being dropping the Fanatic in, or getting in to combat with someone without charging, it seems very useful. Not to mention things like an easy support dice. Any more thoughts on this card? Second is Transfixing Stare. Seems like an easy, quick way to neuter warbands like Magore, Steelhearts, etc. Basically an easy way to take a fighter out of the round. Similar to Frozen in time, but without the randomness, and less restrictions. We match up similar with Upgrades too. Any reason you don't have Deathly Fortitude as well as Sudden Growth? They're so good on the fanatic, and can really be mitigated with push ploys on other gitz. I do like Gloryseeker, and I should probably find space for it. really useful on Drizgit/Prog with their 3 hammers when inspired. I gotta say that i'm not a fan of volley caller or potion of constitution. Any reason you use them? Low Cunning has gone in/out a bit over time for me. I either forget about it, or struggle to get use from it. Why no Acrobatic? Any other thoughts on my deck?
