    Why are thoughts on using Tzaangor and acolytes, going for more of a mortal army. Recent 1k list I took was magister on disc Ogroid tzaangor shaman 10 acolytes 10 acolytes 10 tzaangors 3 screamers pyrofane cult coven didn’t want to take pinks or LoC since it was 1k but didn’t have much of any success with the list against kruelboyz. It’s only my second 3.0 game and I’m still trying to get used to the changes and other new things

    So I had a small 1k game against Skaven this weekend and lost (I’ve never won against skaven whether i play Tzeentch or Slaanesh). my list Invaders host lurid haze syll’esske Masque Lord of pain 10 chaos warriors 5 myrmidesh pain bringers 11 blissbarb archers I don’t know all the names of my opponents units but I think he had verminlord (scythe wielding one) the big bell model 30 Plague monks 30 plague monks we played shifting objectives and right off he got onto all three (vermin lord on one, 30 monks on center and other units in the left one). I was already struggling with how to beat him cause he had more units than I, and I couldn’t go after all 3, so focused on the center and the left one and ignored the corrupter. Though he was on the higher pointed objective but was also closer to two of the gnaw holes whereas there was only one near the other two objectives. I was able to whittle his plague monks down and eventually kill one of the units, but his big bell thing killed syll’esske in turn 2 I think. I was able to summon daemonettes in turn 3 but by that point he had 10 victory points and I only had 3. So we called it. I’m not used to Slaanesh so I was having to look up and check things a lot but was not encouraged when I saw it was skaven. Anyways I’m trying to stay positive and get practice with the units I’ve got. I know it’s not the most detailed report but I’ll take any feedback I can get lol 😝

    Excited about the new models! Have a good amount of slaanesh demons but not really played Slaanesh much.....however looks I’ll be playing painting and buying a lot more 😂

    Made a change based list for fun and curious how it looks to others.     From the new Wrath of Everchosen book....looks like new stuff for tzeentch under allegiance abilities....Unbound flux and cult of 1000 eyes are tzeentch cults/factions. Cool cool

    based on the nurgle subfaction teaser about the Wrath of the Everchosen book coming out, i'll bet there are/is Tzeentch subfactions in there too.

    i am nervous about the FAQ. Im seeing quite a lot of comments where people are up in arms about how Flamers, horrors, changehost are broken/overpowered/ not fun etc. (this is summation of what i'm seeing) and an over correction or large nerf may be the result.

    so, I love the new endless spells for Tzeentch (probably would try to take 1-2 of them in a list) but realized that if i take the GS he has StD keyword and that gives access to StD endless spells. Are they worth taking? Been hearing a lot about Darkfire Demon drift

    What are people's thoughts on the Host Duplicitous Change Coven? I like the sound of it but wondering on the thoughts of more experienced players

    So....list building w/ new tome. Unfortunately the "Rule of Cool" means that i want to take way too much stuff...lol...and finding a list that i like is tricky (though i haven't played any lists with new tome yet). Been playing around with some ideas and curious on what the group thinks.     playing first game with new BT tomorrow (and first game in a few months too lol) it's 1K game and i'm going to try some things out and see how they do I'm thinking of taking the following: Eternal Conflagration Changeling Herlad on Disc Pinks 20 Flamers 3 (only own this many currently) ....this puts me at 770 pts and i'm thinking of taking either 10 more pinks, or another hero and screamers...Looking for thoughts and feedback. Not trying to take a super competitive list just something with good synergy

    unfortunately the new update has changed this and when making a 2 dice roll (i.e. casting) and you want to use DD, you must use 2 DD for the roll instead of rolling one and using DD for one.

    i'm working on a list: Eternal Conflagration Changehost Battalion LoC Changeling exalted flamer 20 pinks 6 flamers ....more pinks? .....screamers rest is TBD...i'd like to try Fatemaster and/or Herlad on Chariot or disc...and some endless spells. The theory being that the pinks (and maybe flamers) could be moved into enemy territory from Changehost ability and then the Changeling could appear behind them, giving them the Locus....i like that the Coven ability would give Horrors, Flamers and...i believe....Horrors on chariots the -1 rend...appreciate feedback thus far

    well, i'm even more excited for the update. The changes to horror splitting seem cool, and more in line with lore...but they went up in price. I like the sound of the sub-factions and the hidden agendas seem cool too. I'm still hoping that flamers, screamers, and chariots got better, but all the stuff in the article seems very positive to me!

    saw the community article about the pre order and all the new stuff. Excited, but at the same time cautiously optimistic lol. I was hoping for terrain just to have more tzeentchy stuff to paint, not necessarily for tactics. all in all looks very good to me. the dice was a surprise.

    after some thought I've realized the local meta Is actually fairly competitive ...friendky, but competitive, and that has made it challenging to learn and improve . Also that are pretty experienced players with other tabletop games, whereas i am not. There is another group starting closer to me that isn't as competitive .....going to paint for a while and take a break from playing.
