So I've picked up a bunch more clanrats to fill out 2 battleline slots for 1000pts, currently sat at 820pts but looking to pick up another warp lightning cannon to fill the last points. What should I be looking to add to bring the army up to 1500-2000pts? So far I've been thinking about including stormfiends, a verminlord (not too sure which I like just yet) more clanrats, a few endless spells (soulsnare shackles, the burning head) and possibly allies from chaos in general (not too sure about this though) Thanks for the help

Thanks for the reply, I've been putting in a few offers on eBay so I now have a island of blood warlord to add so that's perfect and this sounds similar to what I was thinking with cannons in the back and a tide of clan rats being buffed up so I'm quite happy with that. Also picked up soulsnare shackles aswell for a cheap endless spell that could come in handy

Just picked up an arch warlock and 40 clan rats to start a 1000pt army what should I be looking at picking up next? I'm currently thinking a warp lightning cannon, some more battleline and maybe a warlord any other suggestions? Also endless spells which would complement skaven well? Thanks for the help

Hi, trying to get a friend into the hobby and he likes the look of deepkin. After reading some of the comments here it seems as though the Christmas bundle isn't the best for viability so what would be a good starting point for him? I'm planning on getting him some stuff for Christmas (£50) then he was planning on adding £50 or so, so he has around £100 to spend. He's planning on adding more later aswell so how would people recommend expanding? Any must have units / units to avoid? Thanks for the help!
