OOPS im used to CA as in chapter approve i also play 40k I meant GH, but thats what i was says, if you are play GH use the GH ones (Tho still fallow the rules for use too), but i meant you can not override our faq with the GH faq if you are playing GH terrain rules. But again the problem is not everyone is playing with the GH rules right now for terrain.

  4. The problem is we have 2 FAQs, normally its Army rules trumps Core rules, but also its Newest rules trumps older rules. I would do this: If you are playing with all the new terrain rules play the CA FAQ's, if you are not, play the IDK FAQ's. Everyone i know and talk to still dont know if the new terrain rules are finalized and no one is playing them. Most also dont like the chart (roll once for chart 1 or chart 2, then roll the D6, repeat for each terrain) so we just been rolling D12's like it should have been. I was at a tournament 2 weeks ago (took first, but it was small local event). One of the opponents was mad that i was using the IDK faq, instead of the CA faq (But it didnt matter b.c the TO said we are not using the CA terrain rules) He honestly was mad b.c i was winning so i ignored him and had the TO talk to him.

  6. I like 30 Bestigors if you are not taking the Bull, if gives you the ability to hit 2 units at once and fighting both at the same time
  7. Im pretty sure HoS will start to fall* off when more and more people learn how to play against them. You'll need different deployment strategies and movement placements against HoS compare to many other armies.
  8. BoC are a huge part of WHFB and even AoS, its the "monsters in the woods" armies, the Chaos that glues the missing parts between humans and daemons. They've been a part of the cycle for 30yrs now. Yes others has too, but BoC has always gotten love (I've been playing them since 5th WHFB) and they have beeen modeled 4x since 4th, even tho they always had terrible rules till now as an army (b.c they always were one fot he first books in each edition), they always been one of the first to get a book, to get new models, and to be the general beat stick to Elves/Humans/Dwarfs. I personally have had 3 different sets of Gors and Ungors from new kits, one in the 90's for Gors/Ungors (My favorites ones FYI), 1 in early 2000's, and when the raiders came out they split them up and rebox them again (tho the Gors bodies stayed the same they redid command sprue, no more torches). They also had during 6th and 7th, new Doombull and Bullgors redone, Dragon Ogres redone, new BL and Shaman, added Chariot and Razorgor in 5th, late 6th? early 7th? Ghorgon/Cygor and Jabberslyhe, and new Shaman again but in plastic Really the only few models that havent been updated are the Chariot, Centigors, Bestigors, Razorgors, and BL. EDIT: PS, it also looks like we are getting an Underworlds warband.
  9. I'm not sure if it matters? What every buffs and abilities Beastmen can use. But thanks for the good start. Yeah, i use one all the time, i had one at Adepticon (Beastlord, Shaman, 1 Shaman Disk, 1 Lord on mount, 30 bestigors, 40 Raiders, 1x9 Tzaangors on Disk, Battalion, Cogs, and 2x10 ungors for fill battalion and battleline). It was really worth it IMO. I really missed the 2nd Shaman tho, and its not possible tod o that list now that Cogs/Disks went up in points, it'll be 50pts over i think. The Bestigors won me game 1 easily, crazy enough the Disks didnt do all that well, the Bestigors and Raiders did better, everyone knew what they did and made it very hard for me to do anything with them.
  10. So, i am a... army horde. I'm fixing that and going to be selling my IDK, i already have 6k points in BoC (I basically have max size of every unit and then some). Im also selling 4 of my 7 40k armies. But i wanted to have the ability to play all the Chaos armies with my BoC, this will handle my multi-army itch (I hope), i know what i need for Khorne, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh, but i have no idea what i need to buy for Nurgle. What units do i need to buy for nurgle to be able to play MoN BoC army?
  11. I dont remember everyones names. And honestly assumed if you are going to forums you needed to discus something. I'm sorry for assuming. But about the Furies, i for sure am going to run 1 unit of them, good movement with fly and 2 wounds each for cheap. Heck yeah i'm taking them.
  12. At 500pts and learning, just play w/e looks cool, learn all the rules first then you'll understand the list building and able to figure out what you like. After you play a few games come back and talk, then we can really help you find what you like
  13. Yep, thats why i want to play with them, they are OURS not STD. I really wish they were BoC as well. But the rumor is STD battletome is right around the corner, so i can see why these are for them if that is true.
  14. What do you think of the new Warcry for allies? like Furies? I think these guys are the best out of the 4.   15. Yeah the Aetherquartz Brooch (5+ to regain CP) is really important. I have tried Desolating a few times and it just doesnt workout how i like, others might like it better, but i dont.

  17. Yeah, at least we have good 1 wound units, Bestigors, Ungors, Raiders are all good. And Allherd is really good too, i've moved away from Gavespawn, i only play it to annoy my opponents.
  18. Not saying Deepstrike isnt good, i love it. But for this theory list it isnt needed, i need saturation on a couple units, i dont have that hammer unit to DS and kill off a unit right away.
  19. My first purpose was just using what is best potential, if i wont use other heroes abilities (IDK if i ever want to use Soulscryer ability) then why not take a caster? extra deny and cast and it helps with a couple missions.
  20. Very true, but without him i cant put the Soulscryer in, i could go back to 3 Tidecasters, IDK what do you think?
  21. Re-roll 1's on a potential 180 shots for 80pts (tho its more like 60-90 shots will get re-rolls) and its a cheap hero for some missions. I think i'll move an artifact to the soulscryer, Thermalclock or something.
  22. I changed it, i found that Lotan works better in the list, Sorry didnt edit it fast enough. I also think that 10mans might be better, I might change them to all 10mans, with Lotan i can have 2 units in range easier also we, or do 1 unit of 20 with Lotan. Im actually looking at a crazy list idea, yeah it doesn have very hard punch, but the idea is to hit 1-2 units a turn and just out play/move the opponent with hard to kill units and units you cant reach that gets you. The more i play with Reavers the more i like them, they always do well for me, and i love the Turtle + Ishlaen. Feuthan (turn 1 run and shoot, and eels/turtle gets re-rolls to hits of 1 for the bites/tails/fins Tidecaster - Tide of Fear- Lord of Storm - Bauble BuoyancyLotan (re-roll hits of 1, and Brav) Soulscryer (Rituals and extra charge/outflank)Ishlaen Guard x6Ishlaen Guard x3Ishlaen Guard x3Namarti Reavers x20Namarti Reavers x20Namarti Reavers x10Namarti Reavers x10Akhelian Leviadon The man idea is keep 1 unit of Eels (6 man) near turtle with some Reavers, a unit of 10 + 3 eels for scouting/flanking, Rituals takes away Fly or Cover, Eels still melee and turtle can also, but not to early. 20 man Reavers only deals 15-18 wounds(if you re-roll 1's its 18) but for a unit that can not be shot at or charged that can move 8+D6 and still shoot turn 1 isnt that bad at all, you also have enough shots to kill key targets like a KoS, or some smaller heroes turn 1. With a Turtle to hit hard turn 2 (Mine always does well for some reason).
  24. Battalions dont change your army, just gives you that key word. Some do play it.
  25. Bulls, dragons, etc. 1/2 our units just need to go down in points.
