  1. Kill Team is the same sort of balance dumpster fire as any other GW game. I suspect Underworlds is secretly outsourced to FFG or something since it's actually a real game.
  2. At 2D6-2, each Flayer is still doing an average of 0.97 MW to Bravery 5, 0.55 MW to Bravery 6, 0.28 MW to Bravery 7.
  3. Looks like nobody has noticed yet but there's a half-decent bonus battalion warscroll in Carrion Empire. The Arcasantorian Guard Archregent, 3 Horrors, 3 Flayers, 20 Ghouls 110 pts Units from this battalion re-roll failed charges and do not take battleshock tests.
  4. Missed opportunity to give us new boards tho, that's a shame.
  5. Is it just me or is the Dreadfane board not compatible with normal Warhammer Underworlds?

I can't believe that people can't see the difference between someone posting incorrect rumours in good faith, and someone deliberately lying to make fools out of their fellow hobbyists and stroke their e-peepee. These things are not equal and I for sure have never seen any hostile attitude towards the former. The latter get what they deserve.
  7. A few points I want to make. 1) Literally reads out the entire book. Please listen and stop guessing what things do. 2) You either get a Court or a Delusion, not both. 3) Archregent is undercosted, but, after a mounted king and 3 battlelines at a worthwhile size, you're not going to have points for enough of them to be a serious balance issue, plus there are diminishing returns because they all have the same spell.

  9. I'm leaning more and more towards the Speed Freeks angle: a simplistic boxed game intended to quick-start us on a new army (Godsworn).
  10. Ghoul Patrol is pretty sad now. 180 pts to give Ghouls outflank, when you can alternatively just outflank them for free from an Archregent.
  11. So if you've been paying attention you literally know the whole book by now. I've been fooling around with a Flayer list and came to the conclusion that I'd rather NOT use Blisterskin court. Once you decide to go for 3 Flayer units you want Deadwatch for the extra fight, which means you need a Crypt Infernal and so have Flayers as battleline anyway. While Blisterskin trait and artefact are okayish, generic ones are always better. So here's what I came up with for 2k on the dot: Royal Feast Delusion GKOZD (summons Varghulf), Grim Garland, Horribly Resilient Archregent (summons Varghulf) Archregent (usually summons 20 Ghouls) Crypt Infernal Courtier (general, Dark Acolyte, Medal of Madness) 9 Flayers 3 Flayers 3 Flayers Deadwatch Chalice of Ushroan Aethervoid Pendulum The idea is to add D3+1 attacks (Archregent and Infernal via Dark Acolyte) and then fight 3 times a turn with the big Flayer unit (from battalion and a free use of a command ability from Medal of Madness) and 2 times with the GKOZD (with a free use from Royal Feast) without spending any CP while also returning massive amounts of models, healing all the wounds and spamming 15 banshee howls a round at straight up 2d6 thanks to Grim Garland.
  12. Yeah each Court unlocks a different thing. One for Flayers, one for Horrors, one for Terrorghasts and one for Zombie Dragons. EDIT: Sorry, one court unlocks both behemoths, and one doesn't unlock anything.
  13. Now I'm kind of sorry I sold 2 TG sprues after buying 5 Start Collecting.
  14. IMHO best fix would be to errata the Throne to only pay for 1 summon per turn.
  15. Ah, Majestic Horror got nerfed of course. It just lets you use the CA without paying CP.
  16. While I regret the lack of new warscrolls, it looks like we won't be hurting for power or variety of builds 😍
  17. Man, with the Archregent effectively costing between 0 and 40 pts for a wizard with decent melee and regeneration, I imagine we'll fill all leftover Leader slots with them. I mean literally he costs 0 points.
  18. Fence spell at 30 is auto-include. Anyone know why I can't find the warscroll cards with any online retailer in the UK?
  19. NZ preorders are up. This book contains: - 13 warscrolls, 3 Endless Spell warscrolls and a warscroll for the Charnel Throne terrain piece. - 9 warscroll battalions that reward themed armies with special rules Confirmed for no new units besides the Archregent.
  20. The names of the two command abilities it can be used with are spelled out.

The Throne is a disappointment to me, it just somewhat mitigates the command point tax we shouldn't even be burdened with in the first place to do our army's main shtick, and doesn't even work for GKOZD and GKOTG for some random reason - probably because they're mobile enough that bunching them all around the Throne during deployment isn't "enough of a drawback" to pay for the CP discount. Spells are fine - horses are brutal but then again just another Jaws clone with no secondary. Grail is completely redundant. Fence is actually amazing, unlike shackles it has no chance to fail, it's just a straight up free turn vs. stuff like BCR.
