  1. Tbh: Deathly Coordination is what the Melusai Ironscale needs in order to make any sense.
  2. Mhm… I like the changes to vampires, it‘s too little however, since they should‘ve had 6 attacks from the start. The casting bonus is nice. The attack first for a summonable unit is weird: it‘s best on grave guard which are already good. I don‘t get why we get ZERO buff to non hero vampire units / non Summonable units apart from the Castelei AB. We really need +1 rend on Blood Knights and Vargheists imo. Mount Traits: Baffled by the +1 units to be healed MT? I‘ve never ever even reached the max a singe hero could heal? It should have rephrased the ability to: Can heal any unit.
  3. Yeah, I am getting this feeling considering 60% of their units which baffles me.
  4. Is s.o. in this thread playing Nurgle? I‘ve had a look at previews and reviews and my impression so far is: They seem to have mostly the same statlines as Stormcast, with an added 5+ ward. They can reliably generate Mortal wounds on the enemy and summon - And they are cheaper than Stormcasts? Am I missing something? Seems really weird to me.
  5. Curious: why? I was sceptical for the first 45 mins. Yet the second 45 mins hooked me
  6. What do you mean? Isn‘t „skeletons suffer no gut/wound modifier“ enough of a vampire power for you 🤣🤣😂 in all seriousness: please throw ordinary vampires a bone (or goblet of blood)
  7. I would have voted for Soulblight, however, vampires have become real push-overs which stings and actually breaks my immersion. I voted for Stormcasts: Cool new models, their book is okayish, however: dRaGoNs! @Maddpainting if you love Beastmen: Give the show „Wheel of time“ a shot!
  8. It has always been absurd to me that the Eldar are a dying race with utterly superior technology, Yet they send in their troops with little more than card board in terms of armour. And why are they at the fringe of being a horde army? 😵‍💫 And let‘s not talk about Eldar unit names, those are certainly names biker gangs of the 80s would love. However: If the new models look sleek and dynamic I might add them to my Ynnari forces.
  9. The finger-thick mold lines of the models beg to differ 🤣
  10. Wait what? R u serious? Unless he drops 150 pts after that people won’t play miscast-gash anymore.
  11. A Kairic acolyte however is no simple human Dwarves got bigger, no question (they received the novelty called knee). The Greatsword model however is still the standard height of ordinary humans in 40k and AoS. compare the new Zombies to the greatsword model.
  12. The size of the plastic miniatures is actually pretty consistent. The whole scale-creep isn’t really there.
  13. Tbh: I‘d like a big balance pass with The December FAQ and then I‘ll be fine for a few months with painting and playing
  14. In General: 20 Grave Guard Are a good starting point. If you want damage: Vampire Kord on Dragon If you like to Troll: Mannfred If You like wolves: Go Vyrkos with 20+ Dire Wolves. My usual army consists of: 2x20 Grave Guard Wight King on steed (general -> makes the Grave Guards Battleline) 1-3 more heroes, depending on taste (Necromancer, if you go Skeletons heavy) 2x 10 Dire Wolves or 40 Zombies + 10 Dire Wolves or Skeletons Add some Blood knights /Vargheists fill remaining points with fell bats or a minimum size skeleton unit and you are done. Units you‘ll usually want to bring: Belladama, Mannfred, VLoZD, Grave Guards, bodies.
  15. Your assessment is correct. Khrondys might be worth 500-600 points due to his spellcasting. however the Stardrake isn’t worth 500 either. Imo it should look like this: Drake Templar: 395 pts Stardrake: 420 pts Karazai: 490 pts Khyrondys: 535 pts and the dragon princes really need a 5+ ward. They can call it hardened Draconith scales
  16. I'd argue it's fyreslayers: Burning Keys and a torch... a Keymaster Hero for the upcoming Battlebox?
  17. The army and its points seem mostly fine. I‘d expect reductions for most Cursed city units. I‘d expect a huge reduction or a rewrite for black knights (I‘ve rarely seen such a useless Warscroll, I’ve no idea how this kind of bland and bad made it into the book. They’re supposed to be mounted grave guard, not mounted skeleton warriors)
  18. They are oppressive and pretty annoying as opponent. Overall they are WAY too efficient for their points.
  19. Reeding this took me ages since my eyes couldn’t stop rolling. 🙄
  20. Yup I've seen that. Seems like they had a look at the codex a month ago, formed their opinion and misremembered most of the rules while claiming things are OP. Good times. ^^
  21. Idoneth will get more new units than just a single hero. Am I right? I must be right!? 😭 @Whitefang
