  1. The sword looks a lot like an Aeldari Power Swird
  2. Is this a piece of new Art? I guess it’s supposed to depict a sorceress
  3. WTB Black Ark Fleetmaster EU (Germany) nothing more to say about it Unbuild and unpainted preferred. Kind regards Jack
  4. I assumed as much. If GW stops Fusiliers from being reinforced twice imo the Warforger doesn't need a point adjustment. Damage unbuffed Fusiliers: 22 Shots, VS 3+ Armour: 2,75 4+ Armour: 3,66 5+ Armour: 4,58 Cannon unbuffed damage: Cannonball 3+ Armour: 0.55 4+ Armour: 2,43 5+ Armour: 2,91 Armour Piercing Shell: 3+ Armour: 2.5 4+ Armour: 2.5 5+ Armour: 2.5 Jup, the cannon is the worst XD Maybe CoS heralds the new edition in which shooting will support armies, not carry them. Which would be awesome. In turn one Skaven shot me off the table yesterday with their Stormfiends and jezzails -> Nice "drawbacks" for dealiong 40+ wounds of Damage in one shooting phase. Let's face it: Shooting in AoS is broken (too good) so I'd welcome that change
  5. Another issue I see will be the price for an army. imo playing 10 fusiliers is useless, you need at least one reinforcement. Which means 2x50€ (2x60$) for one functional unit, ouch.
  6. You‘d invest a lot if points to make an already expensive unit perform like it should without any buffs. Idk too many eggs in one basket if you‘d ask me. If Fusiliers couldn’t be reinforced I‘d argue they‘re a 100-120 pts unit. One could also say that Fusiliers are how shooting should be, the rest of AoS‘s shooting is simply, utterly out of whack. Edit: Concerning our buying choices this means that playing 10 on their own is senseless, one‘d need at least 20 per unit I‘d wager (judging by GW’s pricing policy that‘s 100€/unit - that’s rough, 120$ )
  7. Copied from another thread concerning Fusiliers: I had another two games today. One with 2x10 Fusiliers, one with only 10. I didn’t have a MW Mage yet. My general has the +1 to wound CT. They do VERY little. They are fast with a long range but their output has plainly been bad in all of the 4 games I‘ve played with them. 20 dealt 12 wounds across 5x shooting (one unit shot 3x) against 4+ armour saves (skaven) that usually used all out defense. For 300 points + 90 ots for a hero and + 50 pts for needing a CP that’s bad. They‘re completely useless without all out attack, they do nothing with unleash hell and firing back at someone who shot them does NOTHING again. Their reroll is irrelevant since it’s locked to turn 3 (the game‘s often over at that point). In my experience the unit is overcosted and overhyped . It might be an issue if you put the MortalWoundForger Spell on a unit of 20+, but that’s it. The Base 4+, 4+ really kills the unit.

  9. Pontifex: Reminds me of Comet‘s Call it was called? D6 units suffer D3 MWs, anywhere on the battlefield. I agree, the Ability is too much. Make it D3 Heroes and it’s fine.
  10. I simply use an ikea display cabinet. It’s cheap, big enough for 3-5 Armies and does its job well
  11. Whoever leaked this: build them already and show pictures!
  12. I had a little time to write down some crude ideas. WIP: The terminology is currently off and inconsistent Soulblight and CoS are pretty much done content-wise (click to tabs at the bottom to see the entries) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Vvyu1EEhIutbWJM0paYd_XmLNNsuhJNJrt7z4WiG9fg/edit?usp=sharing
  13. Nice leaks! Finally a NEW plastic Bretonnia kit. The Ghouls seem to have a bigger champion (top right corner, there’s a big torso). I really like they way this is going!
  14. Do you have a pdf version of an empty AoS Rules-Page lying around? Would safe myself the trouble of creating one myself
  15. Sure thing! The powerlevel is varying. There‘s supposed to be simple things, like adding mount, and there’s supposed to be a little special rules that increase a stat. Examples (SBGL are easily done, since there’s a lot of material to draw ideas from) SBGL, Nightmare Mount, Effect: For Vampire Lord (same stats and base size as the Blood Knight mount) SBGL, Abyssal Terror Mount, Effect: For Vampire Lord (same stats and base size as Mannfred of Carstein‘s mount) Idoneth Deepkin, Allopex Mount, Effect: Akhelian King, (same stats and base size as an Allopex. The King replaces one of the riders) SBGL, Red Fury, Effect: Every successful wound roll immediately let’s you roll an additional dice to hit (these additional dice can‘t trigger bonus attacks again) -This is powerful, yet it will be locked to a very renown Vampire and accessible only once. Ofc this will cost points to crudely reflect the power of the ability. SBGL, Kingdom of Thralls, Effect: Add two HUMAN units from the Cities if Sigmar Roster at minimum size to your order of battle. These units can’t be reinforced, must be infantry and they can’t be a hero. Both units count as coalition units for all rule purposes. Cities of Sigmar, Lead by example, Marshal or Cavalier Marshal, Effect: The hero attaches to a unit with a size of 5 or more models. The unit acts as damage sponge and shares its deployment, movement, combat and shooting phase with the hero (they count as one unit). The unit dictates the movement speed, the hero dictates the bravery. Beasts of Chaos, Gift of Speed, Effect: Beastlord only, Add the Centigors Keyword. The beastlord changes his movement to 14“,his wounds to 7 and uses the same Base Size as Centigors Beasts of Chaos, Brass Bull, Effect: Doombull only, Add the Khorne Keyword. change the save characteristic to 3+. Reduce the rend of attacks targeting this unit by 1 to a minimum of 0. reduce the movement characteristic of this uni by 1“. Skaven, Hidden Assassins, Effect: Once per Battle. At the End of the Combat phase, roll a die. On a 3-6 you can place 3 Gutter Runners anywhere on the Table , they’re allowed to be within 3“ of one enemy unit. The Gutter runners may not pile in but attack immediately. On a roll of 1-2 No-No-Treachery! place the gutter runners as close to the hero with this Ability as possible, the hero suffers D3 Mortal wounds and the Gutter runners must attack immediately (if possible all attacks must target the hero), you opponent will control the Gutter runners from now on. If the hero is slain by the gutter runners he counts as dead in the post battle sequence. Determine one random hero of yours that took part in the battle (if there was non randomly determine one from your order of battle) This hero is your new warlord since his assassination attempt succeeded, he receives all artefacts your previous warlord possessed (if possible), this Ability and 3D6 renown Points. Point costs (Renown Points, Glory Points etc.) as well as formulating restrictions (only for infantry heroes, requires a castle of level X etc.) and the exact text will be my job I‘ll have two categories of Upgrades: Mounts and Martial disciplines. Red Fury would be the latter for example. Martial Disciplines are abilities that enhance the heroes combat and or magic capabilities. tldr: It’s main job is to add customizations, so you can make and advance a character that’s your own while not tuning the powerlevel too much (powerful abilities should either be restricted or have a drawback)
  16. yes I want you to! (Input for skaven) I‘ll make a pdf which I‘ll share here
  17. Hello, I am intending to add more customization to our PtG Campaigns by adding more options for heroes. These options will be purchasable with Renown Points. I‘ve got Idoneth, Cities of Sigmar, Stormcast, Soulblight, Slaves to Darkness and Seraphon covered. Concerning Destruction, Chaos and everything that’s missing I will need input of you all. If you have any ideas that also make sense in the lore, please write them down in the following format: Faction, upgrade name, Effect: Crude Idea of it is supposed to do (no specifics) examples: Beastmen, Gift of the Gods, idea: Add a mutation that changes attacks/magic/resistances
  18. Freeguild: I don’t mind other races, my best friend is an Ogor 🤣
  19. You are joking, right? I‘d advice you to research your claim since in reality almost every point is the exact opposite. Capitalism brings no one out of poverty it creates poverty. Since your comment cements that you are definitely U.S.-American I‘d ask you to continue this debate via pm with me, TGA is not the place for politcal/systemical talk cheers Jack
  20. You mean needlessly destroying the planet, your wealth, jobs and the future so a few hundred people can build their version of a Dagobert Duck Tower? To get this right off the bat: Brand loyalty is the strongest in the U.S.A. It’s mostly irrelevant in Germany (and apparently in the EU in general?) except for some circles of people that fell for the status symbol nonsense (mostly people that couldn’t afford those in the first place) Brand loyalty is a myth companies want you to believe in in order for them to take advantage. Ideally you should always keep an eye open for the best price performance and buy the corresponding product. (Try to be as much of a Homo economicus as possible) The moment a company gets too much market power their product doesn’t get better anymore since there’s no competition, it degrades to money gauging and decreasing innovation and quality. So to get money for R+D they have to produce a good product wich sells well due to its innovativeness and quality. To produce and develop such a product they need pressure caused by competition etc. Brand loyalty is a simple way if gauging money without putting work into it. It’s basically a cheap trick. If a company can only keep afloat due to some weird and false one-sided relationship of customers then by all means let the company sink and disappear. And there‘s so much more enough of this, back to topic
  21. Imo they messed up making a generic version of her do they had to keep her rules accessible to all Subfactions and they had to keep the Griffon around.
