The amount of arrogant elves is already ridiculously high. We don’t need anymore hat thieves, much less a new army from the king of the Oedipus complex. Idoneth on the other hand are alright, they’re arrogant but they also know how flaws they are. I also find the whole chorfs in 2023 thing to be Taurus ******, since we have Hobgoblins incoming.

I know for a fact that the local GW in Denver, CO(run by a nice guy named Kyle(free advertising)) still has that box. Also if they do Made to Order I hope it lasts a lot longer than the other special “releases”(MTO Tomb Kings back when the dlc came out for Total War).

Out of curiosity, why are the filthy elgi coming before the Dawi-Zhar? We actually have legit rumors about the latter.

I'm hoping for something very Grimdark and AOS!! Something we havent seen before that would be at home in Ghur, maybe a cross between a Croc and a Hippo or something!! Anything that is clearly a monster and wouldnt be confused for a Daemon. A AOS style alligator/crocodile monstrosity sounds amazing my liege, but I’m biased as they’re my favorite reptile ever. If they ever release one I’m calling it Sobek.

Depends on two things IMO: how good the models&rules are, and if the lore justifies this decision.

Bad news everyone, looks like the next White Dwarf is delayed a bit(got it from GW Facebook page). Shame cause it looks really good and has rules for Ogor mercenaries.

You speak the truth sir, myself and @KingBrodd are diehards of our respective factions(though I’m having to expand into gravelords to keep the dream alive). Likewise the idea of Chorfs being a part of StD but not an actual army sounds harsh, but also makes a lot of sense game wise.

I’m already planning selling my Maggotkin, Ironjawz, and a Chaos Knight just to pick up the Dominion box, if/when the new Chaos Dwarfs drop I’m getting rid of my Kharadron barring Bugmansson and Gotrek.

I don’t count Hobgrotz as Kruleboyz for obvious reasons(chorfs), so my favorite model is either the swampcalla or the crossbow boys.

I could be wrong, given that my knowledge of Babylonian/Assyrian/most of the Middle Eastern armor ironically(I’m Egyptian) isn’t great.

I’m pretty sure AOS chorfs are called Furnace Kings(I hereby propose FK as the abbreviation), and if we go off the hobgobbos they seem to have an “industrial samurai” feel to them this time around.

I agree with you your swoleness, I lived in New Orleans for two years when I was a kid and the swamp was the best part of living there(next to the food, but I was five and didn’t like the music/parades). The sights, the sounds, the big ole alligators and spiders… the reason I got into Gloomspite Gitz was cause They had big spiders and could be found in dank places(like a swamp). My only comply is that they worship Lragnos instead of some giant alligator/crocodile, but I’ll figure something out.

I was completely thrown for a spin with those hob gobbos and their crude grenades tbh. Now I’m just hoping that chaos duardin(possibly called The Furnace Kings if GW’s not-so-subtle hints these past few years are correct) come as soon as possible.

That is an excellent point, and I will be working on a home brew deity that makes more sense.

Alright, just going off of today’s preview how are you Gitz going to build your armies? I’m going hobgoblin swarm backed up by archers and ballista.

While I’m a bit sad it seems like we’re moving away from the Babylonian feel I’m happy we might be getting Chorfs so it’s all good(definitely gonna sell my Nurgle stuff). In regards to the hobgrots, the banner has a bunch of crude runes scratched on them, and they don’t look orky to me…
