Damn !!! They're teasing us really hard ! As much as I'd love to see Vlad back, if I remember correctly, he's dead, right ? The ancient evil is definitely the shape you see in the background here. Also, can we just take a moment to realize that we're living a very exciting time in terms of hobby ? At least on my end, every release gets me really excited, and I have yet to start an actual AoS army because so many great things are likely to come !

Tzeentch is really in need of an update. If I remember correctly, it's probably the most FAQed book currently existing. I wouldn't be surprised if we see an updated battletome + Endless spell very soon. Especially cause it's one of the most magic-oriented faction so ... Endless spells would make so much sense.

There used to be another version of this with blades of khorne though.

My money is on Soulblight, and Gutbusters. There was this visual with the 4 factions, and if I remember correctly there was Fyreslayers, Blades of khorne, and Gitz represented as well as those 2. And guess what they all got a battletome. There are too many armies now, I doubt it's a coincidence

Also, if I remember correctly ... At the moment STD is the lowest competitive WinRate accross all factions. Which ... Means a lot. Though I really want to see what treatment they give to Darkoath, so I might be biased 😅

Personnaly, I am very excited with the contrast line of paint. As someone who spends too much time on a mini and fears getting into anything else than very elite ones ... It could be a game changer for me. Also, I feel like it might also be great to better identify which areas need to be highlighted and which should not.

I love how GW is just hidding clues in plain sights. I just realized we've seen those untamed beast a while ago, as you can see on the bottom right of this Warcry starter set ! So we can definitely expect an Iron golem Vs Untamed beast starter

I just love how these guys look ! It's pretty hard for me at the moment, cause I'm so in love with the Darkoath / Barbarian aesthetic, and as we don't know anything yet ... I have to refrain from starting anything AoS-Related 😅

While zooming you can guess it probably has horns and wings too. Even though it's not very sharply drawn. Really curious about what that is.

Just noticed something interesting on Marakarr Bloodsky's sprue. See what I'm seeing. Yes, it's a centipede. Either someone at GW is obsessed with centipedes, or it might be a cue for the next AoS narrative to come. What do you guys think ?

Given the quality of the last releases ( including Nighthaunt), I'm waiting for Darkoath. Though, they make it really hard for me right now 😂

I didn't really understand it like this ... but I might be wrong. As I get it, it means that many people have a interpretation for what the bad moon is ( including Spiderfangs) but they are wrong, because the moon talked to him (the loon king) once. What do you guys think ?

Is anyone in here using the Depraved Drove (Slaanesh battalion) ? I have a hard time really understanding : - How it would be beneficial using it in a Slaanesh Force - What combination of Units benefit the most from Battalion (Rerolling failed Hits and Charge) I love my BoC, but I fell in love with that Herald with Harp, and I definitely want to play Noise Marines in 40K So I guess it would be a pretty good option to use that battalion.

Definitely screams 40k to me. The painting of the background reminds me a lot of how people tend to paint the little digital screens you find on Scions arms.

From what I understand it depends on your playstyle quite a bit. Allherd being probably the least interesting on this regard. Darkwalkers if you're planning to ambush a lot. And Gavespawn for the annoyance it is for your opponent to make a target choice.

What do you guys think about Chaos Gargant Vs Ghorgon ? Chaos Gargant 20pt cheaper, and with the whip it seems pretty interesting, yet a bit more random than the Ghorgon. What are the pros and cons of both ?
