I remember somebdoy telling me what those allegiances actually meant. good, being the factions that can make a reliable pack without breaking it. the neutral faction, being armies that will make a pack or deal with another faction as ling as it benefits them. And as soon as it doesn’t will just leave for something more beneficial the evil, can make packs but are less trustworthy and might backstab you a few minutes after the back-deal has been made.

You are correct, they can’t be compared to any aos faction or warhammer fantasy in this matter….. yet comparing them to a faction of a different setting (cough space marines cough cough) might be easier then said.😂

Well…. I mean the short story sounds awesome, but I’m not certain we’ll see much more then stories in that book. although it’ll be awesome if skaven wasn’t the janitor having to clean the mess gw made again

Each to their own. I mean I’m a skaven and goblin player with me favoring randomness and risk and reward system the skaven had (I consider the current book they have as a bad example for what skaven are meant to be) so Me liking the silliness of the warhammer orks probably comes from those aspect

I dunno, they fit pretty well with the ironjawz range. kb kinda feel like the faction that doesn’t really fit i to the warhammer ork faction in total. but they could make some awesome chaos dwarf hobgoblins, if gw ever chooses to change things up

I don’t believe that’s the case, but I am enjoying the fact that ork boys can be given a 6+ ward save which is described under the name of warpaints. they can also be given bigstabbas. personally I haven’t seen any savage ork boxes being repackaged for tow, and I don’t think I care too much, considering they are in comparison to other units a bit cheaper to buy and build (boxes of 20 instead of the usual 10 for the same price as most u its of 10) also they look still quit good

Yeah well I mean they are somewhat part of tow, although aren’t considered anything else but ork boyz with some upgrades, you have to pay for bit personally, I don’t really know if bs are getting removed. they seem well more interesting then the Mordor orks aos got this edition

There are also a lot if non competitive players who mostly care about playing models they emjoyed painting or just liked their look

I mean there’s the special bravery rule the skaven have, which and yet no skaven unit in the book has that special rule😂. truthfully, I think either gw has to break their own oath of not updating these legacy faction for at least once, or we might have to make our own small faq, that deals with those problems. personally considering that most armies had an 8th or 6-7th edition book, taking inspiration from those books and trying to figure out what unit should get what rule might be quit helpful. and as for rules we think are clearly wrongly written, i’d say we’ll just go for the rule ofhow it should probably be rather then how it is written

I… actually don’t know. but if they are offering, hopefully this also means the return for monstrous arcanum units for legacy factions. I’d love to see a return on the brood horror

Officially yes…. But I don’t think that should be too much of a problem. for example me and my buds are holdimg of a 500points path to glory in aos, and basically chose to house rule the restrictions slighlty

You know while this legacy rules update for skaven is quit restricted, (and has some rules that apparently no skaven can use (very certain that’s a mistake) it actually feels like you are writing a list with skaven. in comparison to the current aos 3.0 book, this legacy pdf actually got some love for the skaven
