Vampire Lord on Abyssal Terror

WoollyMammoth

The most warlike Vampires ride to battle on the backs of monstrous, winged, dread-inspiring mounts. Some are creatures of Chaos from the mountains, the resurrected hybrids of rapacious beasts. Others are nightmarish creations of Dark Magic, bound with shadows and given bodies of
writhing blood and flayed skin. The most common of these winged fiends are known as Abyssal Terrors.

Gorebeast is sweet. Id love to see it.

Its from the AoS box set, static pose celestant on dracoth. Kitbash/customization. The double move spell is essential for undead, used on blood knights is devastating. Sadly the scroll was retired but technically still useable.

I know I plan on getting one of these guys and using your design for it if you dont mind. What is the bits you used, especially the wings?

My dream soon is to have a zombie dragon lord with mystic shield, foot  Vampire lord's +1 attack and the double movement spell to have the best wrecking ball in the darned game.

I used bits from the dragon/tgheist kit, the head & lance. The wings are vargheist. I did some customizing on the cape and to remove some of the sigmar symbols and gave him a chaos knight shield. Personally I'd recommend getting the new Calvary guys since this hard left pose is very hard to work with, but this model is super cheap on ebay so its hard to resist.

I think I may go the cheap route because money is tight. The Varguiest wings are doable too. I think i'm totally going to rip this off. Thanks for the indo!

Bit of a necro on the thread, but I've just now come across it. Where on the model are the wings mounted? It's a fantastic idea for a conversion
